Best chicken spot in the area!! The rotisserie chicken is always fresh and readily prepared. The fried chicken is even yummier! Comes in regular and extra crispy. Sides vary and are always fresh... I moved from The Bronx to Austin, TX recently and the #1 place I miss from my old home is Chickenfest with Kenny's Taco and Sushi coming a close second. As the above reviewer stated, it's not much to look at and the counter process is a pressurized stream of people carefully and quickly enunciating their orders, but the food is so cheap and so tasty. They seem to be serving healthy food here now which is very strange given that it's a fried chicken joint in Parkchester.
