Have gone two times in 2024 and enjoyed the time spent there. The food is really great quantity of the portions, will definitely take home some leftovers. I have a great liking to seafood but I have also tried their steak meal during the special deals they have going on during certain times of the year. It was tender and a huge portion of a steak served, not tough to eat at all. Had a basket of raspberry biscuits for the table if I remember correctly. I had yellow rice and veggies...
We went out for my nieces 39th birthday at The Lobster House on City Island in the Bronx. I have been going to this restaurant for years and have enjoyed my experiences. The past few visits have been disappointing. The food looks and tastes good. However, 6/8 of us were ill within stomach aches within an hour of leaving the restaurant. We will not be returning after many years of loving The Lobster House in City Island.
First time visiting and it did not disappoint! The food is excellent and the portions are huge! You will leave stuffed! The garlic bread is awesome! I had the jumbo shrimp Parmesan and it was delicious! When they say jumbo, they mean gigantic! My friend had the special with the lobster tail and it was also delicious! And to top it off, the service was great! Our sever was Oscar and he took care of us! This is definitely a place to try!
