This Domino's store policy NEEDS TO CHANGE especially for the sake of all people with disabilities and chronic conditions who are unable to easily (or at all) meet their drivers downstairs to be given the food they are hungry for and wait a long time to receive.
I am currently sick with COVID-19 and expressed my worry numerous times to my delivery driver about not forcing me to meet him downstairs so I don't needless expose him or anyone to this virus which has killed millions of people worldwide since 2020, and because I am extremely exhausted/fatigued and dealing with a lot of physical pain and weakness. Instead of making an exception or accommodation for this circumstance, the driver said I should just call the store (Store #3691 - Kingsbridge Avenue location in Bronx, NY 10463) and cancel my order. I begged him not to leave and to wait for me because I was hungry and wanted my food. However, I pointed out how this is an accessibility issue and a direct violation of federal law - The Americans With Disabilities Act.
In addition to this practice (which I believe - but am not 100% sure about - is only the policy at certain Domino's locations) being in violation of the ADA, this supposedly goes against Domino's corporate policy as well, according to the company website. When I Googled this question, here are the responses that came up from the Domino's website: No, it is not Domino's corporate policy to require customers to meet their delivery driver outside at their car; the company policy generally allows customers to receive their pizza at their door, and drivers are instructed to follow local safety guidelines when making deliveries. Key points to remember: - Flexibility: While drivers may ask if you prefer to meet them at the door or outside, you are not obligated to do so according to Domino's policy. - Safety concerns: In certain situations like high-crime areas, a driver may request to meet you at the door or outside for their own safety, but this is not a universal requirement. - Local variations: Some local Domino's stores may have specific delivery procedures based on their area, so it's best to check with your local store if you have any questions.
In light of the above information, I do not understand how this particular Domino's location gets away with this horrible policy that should not exist. I also do not understand how specific locations are legally allowed to get away with this practice. I plan to pursue legal action against this Domino's location if this DISABILITY RIGHTS ISSUE is not addressed as swiftly and completely as possible. This location should be ASHAMED and needs to change.

I give it one star because there is no zero to give it to it but a simple medium pizza for almost 17 dollars is a steal because the employee did not want to apply the coupon to me. I don't know why this pizzeria invests so much money in promotions and when the person who takes the order arrives at the store in the end he does whatever he wants... ???? he doesn't buy that pizza anymore there are too many options to lose au time and money with those people..

The drivers act like they are allergic to delivering to your door even with a disabled customer who states that they are disabled on the order. Then if they do finally relent to bringing the order to your door they refuse to leave the pizza at the door, they insist that the customer MUST come to the door to take the pizza from them even though the order(s) was prepaid online.
Then to make things worse, the delivery tracker is never accurate. How my driver being 3 minutes away always turns into me waiting outside of my building in the cold for 15-20 minutes is something I will never understand.
I love Dominos pizza but this location being the closest to my home is putting me off from ordering whenever I get my pizza cravings.
Wheelchair accessibility: They do not care about disabled customers.

Horrible service. On the phone, in person and delivery. No credit for their mistakes. My pizza came cold when I’m literally 6 min away. I usually pick up my order in person so I regret it today. Will be ordering from a different location, next time. I’m so upset.
Driver refuses to get out of his car and states curbside delivery only. I did the option for contactless door delivery along with tip. Food came cold on top of that and called the restaurant to complain but he really didn’t care what I have to say other than “for the safety reason for our drivers!” How about the safety of customers going up to a strangers car!
