“I love this food truck. Best food truck in NY! Guys are funny, kind, pleasant and working hard lovely people. Food is so yummylicious!!!! I love the beef Sharma so I always got that. Until yesterday I wanted to try something new. So I got the beef kebab and Kefta (? Not sure if I spelled it rt) but it's like a thin burger patty. These were sooo good too!!! Now I'm have to go back for more lol. I got sauce with mine. But naw. Their food is soooo good. You should get the sauce on the side! Taste it trufully haha. Price is good. And portion is good. Iam a lady who can eat! And I can't finish it all st once! My husband can. But he gets full after. ? I highly recommend this food truck if you wanna try a real halal food! Their meat taste and feels real as compare to other food truck lamb,, it feels like canned meat... OMG also Their falafel I'd THE BEST! So crunchy and flavourful!! ??“

“I had the feta salad here. It comes with mixed greens, croutons, slices of beet and I ask them to add some olive oil. Tastes heavenly! Their falafel sandwich is pretty good and their eggplant sandwich is not bad either. If I have the occasion again I'd love to come back here. It's great to have an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant that's also kosher and dairy. My only complaint is they're closed on Monday!“

“This place has insane falafels! Their pita is fresh and tahini and red sauce are homemade and delish! Their portions are generous and today they were handing out a free sample falafel. Of course, you get your food and eat it across the street by the fountain in front of an office building but that added to the charm too. A couple of suggestions: keep pouring ice over your drinks to keep them cold and more Kerry’s in your salad and less onions. Thanks .“

“Their hummus is beyond amazing. The taste of creaminess at the end. How they make it I have no idea. Now I’m in trouble I need get these! So recommend to anyone. Make sure you get falafel and eat it within, the best way to have your falafel. It’s crispy so good. It’s better than any places I ever tried. Highly recommended
Vegetarian options: So many options. Just order it if your debating. One of the best. Better than any famous place“

“I visited New York for 6 days from the state of Texas and ended up having two meals at this location because the food was just that good. In a city where you have to be the best to survive, we chose to eat here for two meals! The flavors and consistency of quality and service were great. Can't say enough good things about this place! Keep up the good work gentlemen!“

“June 26, 2022. Walked to get our order of a Lamb wrap, chicken wrap and fries. First time there and a welcome place to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, the place is new and clean and most important the food is very good. Will return many times. Check it out.“

“I’ve been going to mamoun’s since 2009 (back when a falafel was only $2.50!). I CRAVE this place every time I’m in nyc. The OG NYC falafel and still the best I’ve ever had in the USA. They’re now a small chain. This is the original location and the only one worth going to. The other more corporate locations are not as good. Beware, the hot sauce is INSANELY hot, and they are cash only.“

“My husband gets their food all the time for lunch and yesterday I met up with him while he was on break. I got the falafel plate and my god! The falafels were so fresh and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the veggies were fresh and really brought life to the dish. The owner and his son were so nice. I cannot recommend enough!“

“it was amazing!! The proportions of the chicken and rice were in large amounts. The chicken was cooked well and the rice was soft. The salad on the side was very fresh. Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“I ordered the fried cauliflower and a chicken shawarma sandwich. The cauliflower portion was good and it tasted great. The chicken shawarma sandwich was close your eyes and enjoy it good! I must add, it's great to find a restaurant that has a true garlic aioli that's an emulsion of garlic and oil and not just garlic with mayonnaise.“

“Everything was really, really, really good, and fresh, especially the salad, meats cooked to order, the falafel. We also loved the hummus, babaganoush, and fluffy pita. Service was super friendly and accommodating to a ton of small special requests. Not sure why they gave us some flat store bought pita with our order and some delicious, fluffy, and fresh made (maybe they were running out?), but overall a really delightful surprise.“

“Best food and best people. The cook and the older gentleman taking our order love their jobs and really took care of us. Both the chicken and beef shawarma were cooked to perfection, with the right amount of juiciness and charred flavor. Even the bread was great. The man taking our order was very welcoming and hospitable. Perfect neighborhood halal spot.“

“Falafel Aloush stands out as the best halal truck for several compelling reasons. First and foremost, the quality of their ingredients is unmatched; they use fresh, locally sourced vegetables and premium spices that elevate their falafel to a whole new level of flavor. Each falafel is crafted to perfection, with a crispy exterior that gives way to a tender, herb-infused interior, offering a delightful taste experience. The truck's menu is also impressively diverse, featuring a range of options that cater to various dietary preferences, including vegan and gluten-free choices, making it accessible to everyone. Additionally, the friendly staff at Falafel Aloush create a welcoming atmosphere, always ready to engage with customers and offer recommendations. Their commitment to authenticity, taste, and customer satisfaction makes Falafel Aloush not just a meal, but a beloved culinary experience on the go.“
“YOU HAVE TO TRY ZAHID’S HALAL FOOD!! The best halal food I have ever had. Juicy chicken and lamb with perfectly seasoned rice.. goes great with the white and hot sauce. The service was great, my food was prepared exactly to my likings. Food and service are incomparable to other halal spots. Don’t just take my word for it, try it yourself ;)“

“The falafel here is superb! It’s light and crispy with a full flavor. I usually order the falafel platter that comes with red quinoa, hummus, pickles, Israeli salad and cabbage. It also comes with pita but I’m GF so I opt out. They also have Dr. Brown’s sodas which is the icing on the cake! The owner and staff and friendly and want to make sure you have the best falafel in town! Highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: They offer falafel, sabich and cauliflower“

“Whenever I am in the area, I have to get my fix!! The Lamb Gyro Platter and Chicken Gyro Platter are so good. You are going to want to order both. I wish I had taken a picture. The last time I was here was in Nov 2021, my flight got in after midnight, so I didn't get to my hotel until close to 2AM. This was one of the few places open, and the food was so good. The Hummus & Pita is delicious as well! You just can not go wrong with this place!“

“I crave Mamouns, but unfortunately, I haven't been there in years. I walked down from 16th Street and was famished when I arrived.
As deeelish as I had remembered. You can't get a better Falafel anywhere in New York. Everything is so fresh!“
“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“

“Do not refer to the five stars. They do not reflect my opinion. I just wanted to say that perhaps a short explanation should be added somewhere that the hummus is intended for the palate of Columbia University students so that Israeli clients do not develop expectations.“

“We were visiting the area and were drawn here by the amazing smells. So many different choices of slices were available. My daughter chose cheese and a pasta topped slice. I chose ricotta/spinach and a mushroom. This place makes the best pizza we’ve ever had!“

“This is hands down the best deli I’ve been to in my life. You guys are always very sweet & helpful to me when I’m there, and it’s very refreshing especially in the Bronx. The food is absolutely delicious & unique. I definitely recommend the crunchwrap supreme (that’s always my go to). Keep it up guys!!“
