George’s Diner has been a part of my life since I was a kid, and it’s truly my favorite diner. The staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, the service is consistently excellent, and the food never disappoints. It’s the kind of place where you feel like family, not just a customer. Reliable, accommodating, and always top-notch — I can’t recommend this place enough.

The food quality and quantity has gone down over the years. I recently ordered French toast. I received 1 jumbo yellow slice of bread with cinnamon cut in half. It tasted nothing like French toast.

I got strawberry pancakes they had the strawberries actually showing. The pancakes were ok probably would of been better if my date wasn't so interesting. Strawberry shake was just milk??

Terrible Experience! AVOID AT ALL COST
I encountered a shocking level of service here. The waiter was rude and condescending (male working 11/23 at around 1 pm), which made for an uncomfortable dining atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations either, it was quite unpleasant.
I ordered a Lumberjack breakfast and asked if Oreos could be added to the pancakes. The waiter, with an attitude, informed me that there would be an extra charge. The Lumberjack itself was priced at $14.95 (without the Oreos), but I ended up being charged $21.70 because he broke down the charges separately. When I spoke to the manager, he claimed they charge $2 per stack of Oreos, totaling $6 for that.
Here’s the breakdown: - Regular stack of pancakes: $10.85 - Oreo pancakes: $11.95 - Lumberjack: $14.95
It just doesn’t add up.
Additionally, my mother ordered a steak quesadilla, and when it arrived, it was soupy and not edible.
I recommend avoiding this place entirely!
