I was raised in this area and when. I saw the diner I wanted to go in. I instantly began to reminisce when I would get off the 1 train late at night and go eat here. It has me family run and operated business. There have been some updates, but there is still a diner feel.

My church had a farewell breakfast for my pastor.We ordered from the Goldmine. They were wonderful and the food was delicious.They were on time with the delivery. We ordered for 50 people. We had enough that some went back for seconds and third helping. The manager and workers were wonderful.We will definitely use them again.

Went out on a limb and ordered a Cuban sandwich to go. Bread not pressed, little to no mustard, no lechón, instead of those long flat Cuban sandwich pickles, they put some chopped cucumbers in there. Great option for cakes and 24/7 under the 1 train is unbeatable. But figure out this Cuban or take it off the menu because the disrespect they’re showing this sandwich is a travesty.
[Edit] also with this Cuban I ordered a slice of carrot cake and it was awesome , super moist , the icing was rich and sweet and it’s a generous portion well at least mine was.

The establishment used to be a pleasant place to visit. However, when the manager is absent, the staff appears to be disoriented and lacks knowledge about the menu. For instance, they were unfamiliar with the Greek frappe, which I used to order frequently. This lack of awareness is causing the business to lose potential revenue. It would be beneficial for the staff to receive proper training and guidance to improve their service and customer satisfaction. I had to walk out disappointed. I guess Starbucks it is.

I have been getting food from thisbplace for years but this was maybe the second time I actually sat in to eat and was disappointed. Went there yesterday evening with my kids and the lady was nice but I don't think she listens well to people's orders. Everything we got missed the salad or lettuce it required and I asked for a to go order and she still brought it on a plate to the table. And when I went to pay I was told I needed to tell her what my tip would be on the credit card because there machines were down. It was just kind of odd and the food I got was dry and missing half the things it needed. My kids didn't mind but I think more attention should be paid to service especially since we were the only 3 people in there and the other 2 customers were leaving so they couldn't even use the excuse of being busy. I probably won't sit in that place anymore to eat but may continue to grab some breakfast in the am since there seems to be better attention then.

This place has gotten significantly worse over the last year with their food orders via delivery. The last few times I have ordered, they sent me more than one wrong item. This time (4/15/2024), they did the same thing - left out 2 sets of homefries that I ordered and sent me a blackened, burnt burger when I asked for medium-well. When I called to complain, I was put on hold for 5+ minutes, so I think they forgot about me. When I called back, the owner who had an attitude, initially told me that he didn't see my delivery. After I explained again that it was via Seamless, he then rudely rattled something about when they get an order, it doesn't show that it's coming from a food app. In any case, he miraculously found my order. When I complained about all the things done wrong, the man actually acted as if the errors were my fault - as if I was personally on the grill messing everything up. I ended up hanging up on him because try to get him to understand that he ruined my order was becoming a moot point. This is a place I have patronized for more than 15 years. I can't tell you how disappointed I am.

The best place you can have your breakfast , lunch & dinner . The stuff is very friendly and polite, especially the two Greek guys in the front . The best spanakopita I could ever have in my life is so delicious . Definitely, I'm gonna go again .
