Everything was perfect except the chicken sandwich was not good a poor choice on my behalf because everyone raved about the food all in all great restaurant and very accommodating in light of the fact there were 38 of us.
I live nearby the Botanical Garden, and usually I eat lunch at the cafeteria after walking. But when a friend or friends join me, we go to the Garden Grill for lunch. It's always a treat. We went in fairly early, at 12, so we had a good long conversation before it got crowded. Then the tables seemed a little too close. But even so, we had a lovely lunch (luncheon!) and then it was just a few steps to the conservatory for the exhibit.
Our lunch was perfect opportunity to take a break from walking through the beautiful gardens and exhibits. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and menu selections. After completing our meal - we were rushed, so we were ready to continue exploring NYBG.
