Good food and atmosphere. Great for casual. Love their fried seafood and fries. Do not order non-fried food. Their lobster had zero taste. Everything else was delicious, especially the fried food.

Great place is been here since I was a child and probably longer so at last 35 years they been operating that spot. So yeah u can't go wrong going to the end of city island and get some johnnys if u want to eat seafood it won't disappoint
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly just not for kids who ant to do more then eat because all they have is boniculars and a lil grab claw machine but yeah if ur kids like eating then is kid friendly but if they are like this new generation and love their phones they will not enjoy their stay after they eat because they won't have anything to do unlike my kids they love looking thru the boniculars and IL spend about a couple dollars for at least 10 mins of sight seeing from the city's island into the abbyse

I ordered lobster tail they were horrible small and no flavor. The soup looked like vomit fist time and last won’t ever go there again. Also you have to go to different places to get different things horrible

Visited here November 2 2024. Hadnt been here since the early 90s due to soggy oil soaked french fries. Started going to seafood city. I am glad i came the fish was tasty they gave two large pieces even the tartar sauce popped, the french fries improved were firm and tasty they also had coleslaw something seafood city got rid of. I love the outside dinning they have covered and uncovered for outside. Didnt too much liked the indoor dinning. I believe ive found a new spot. They dont have baked potato.
