Our go-to spot for Mexican. San Diego grown, I know good Mexican and as I have tried so many, in my opinion this is the best around. Run by great people with staff who are attentive to service and a massive menu that spans all regions/categories of Mexican food (and a variety of gteat margaritas) with something delicious for every pallet

Wish i can give 0000 stars. Went there for lunch this week, service was horrible, food was disgusting, bar tender didn't know how to make a simple FROZEN MARGARITA, when i asked for a change because of didn't taste good, it actually taste like fruit flavor and iced which that's how it was made, she actually blended the mango flavor with ice and then threw around the glass the tequila mix, when inasked for a change she refused to change it, i asked for the manager and the manager never came out to apologize for the issue, they both refused to change my drink. Why would inhave to pay for something that was not made the way it's suppose to be made and to top it off the bartender/ waitress was really rude. AGAIN DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE DISSAPOINTED WITH YOUR FOOD AND DRINKS.

They make you wait 2 hours Just to tell you the order is canceled but they do not notify you it’s canceled do not order from these people !!

cada dia es un peor servicio de la administracion.. hoy espere una hora para comer con mi familia y solo pude ver que la cocinera ..solo le daba prioridad para la comida de deliver... mas de 10 deliveres salieron en mientras esperaba mi comida en el lugar y mucha gente seguia llegabdo y esperando su comida y no fueron ni un poco atentos para avisar que la comida tardaria ..y solo atendian deliveres..despues de esperar tanto tuve que cancelar mi orden y salir de ese sitio ..mientras que la cocinera no le importó en lo mas minimo ..lo sucedido ya que ni siquiera tenia listo uno de los platillos!!! que habia ordenado ..pero al parecer la cocinera es la encargada y dueña del restaurante... que mal... no recomiendo este restaurante...en lo mas minino.

They remind us why not to order food at those hours of the night. There was no love in the food. Meat was dry, no sour cream, no love just a lot of bread and steak. My husband was highly disappointed and told me never to order from here anymore. It was a complete $50 waste. My burrito had steak when I paid $2 extra for beef, I assumed ground beef. They completely disregarded my notes, Hand made quesadillas had no cheese they were so authentic it was nothing like I have ever had before. Extremely disappointed. I did not receive what I paid for.... It's experienced such as these that make me not support the restaurant business. You can't expect your public to support you when the quality of your food is not support worthy.

Food was pretty good but the service was absolutely awful. After food came out was never ever checked up on again. I had to get my own to go plates at the desk and had to go to cash register to get my bill. Never again

Its ok but they should hire more staff. A bartender and a busboy. The waitress does all the titles.

Terrifyingly bad. I have had one sit down and two deliveries from them. The sit down wasn't bad. But the wait was oppressive. The soft tacos had abundant meat and were flavorful. The Nachos were excellent. The soup was also well made. But let me tell you. They screwed up on two deliveries. They left out items and ignored specific instructions to leave out sour cream. It was a godawful mess. The delivery guy was rude as well. I would ugnore this place until they get their delivery act together.

Ive been to this place several times because I do enjoy the food. I took my parents who are in town from florida and we wanted to have some drinks and food. We walked in and no one seated us so I sat myself at a table. After 5 min the waitress comes and takes our drink orders, fine. 3 margaritas and a glass of water, no chips. She leaves and comes back several min later and put our orders in, I ask for chips shes gets them. Drinks come out shortly after, margarita on the rocks not the greatest but will do. After that we waited 15 min for our food which isn't the worst but place wasn't packed. She never came back around to see if we wanted more drinks. Food comes out, she places the food down and disappears. Thought She was coming back to ask if we needed anything else. We ate, finished our food, my son wanted a coke but I couldn't get the waitress. Finally I stop another young lady and asked for the coke, she got it and poof gone with the wind. We finished out food and sat there for awhile waiting for someone to come. By then I had given up on another round of drinks, I was just getting frustrated cuz no one ever came to check on us. The food I can't complain, had the chilaquiles, tacos de pollo and enchilada carne de res. Pretty good. So after waiting for so long my mom asked from a far if we can get to go plates. She said yes but then went back and started prepping to go plates and stacking them up and not giving us the Two we asked for and then she left to do something else. I got up myself and grabbed two. I was super annoyed. Then I waited for my check and no one came. I had to go up to register. I ended up asking for manager because the service was unacceptable. He seemed to not care much. Waitress came over and saw me standing there and proceeded to printing out the receipt and not saying a damn thing. I said to her "you didn't even bother in coming back not one time to see if we needed anything what so ever". She looked at me like I had two heads. I was so annoyed that I just signed and left. These people will NEVER get business from me again. Only reason I gave two stars was cuz the food was decent. Estrellita Poblana express on 242 and Broadway is better in my opinion, just that it's a sit eat and go type place.
