Yes it’s always in the “top 10 best pizza in NYC” lists — and it’s great. But it’s not worth a trip from more than a borough away. We had the margarita (which has great mozzarella and a very bright vibrant red sauce) and a very good sausage pie (the fennel sausage is great!).

I read an article about a week and a half ago about Louie and Ernies Pizza place and it wasn't exaggerated. This pizza shop is by far the best pizza I've had in a loooooong time

Great pizza and team! We stopped on our way from MD to MA and wanted some NY pizza. Louie and Ernie’s was not far from 95 and we found parking within the block. Fantastic pepperoni pizza out on the patio. Staff was great and kind to my toddler. We will definitely be back, maybe even on the way home
