Mangia pizza
the quality and portion have seriously declined ordered the appetizer size fries and received a very small portion
This is our go to place when we want pasta and pizza. We’ve never had issues before. But this is a yikes one. I always order the rigitoni bolognese and margarita pizza for pick up and sometimes through Uber eats. I ordered today. They gave me cheese pizza and they put cheese on my pasta. (They have NEVER put cheese on my pasta). This is highly disappointing.

This used to be the best pizza around here. But they fell off. Im not sure if it's new cooks or if they are buying cheaper ingredients. The pizza we ordered today didn't taste right at all. The sauce tasted sour, and the cheese had a really funny smell. Something just wasn't right with today's order.

I had lunch here today, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. I started with their antipasto salad, which was a perfect medley of fresh, crisp vegetables, flavorful meat and cheese. The balsamic dressing was delicious! The Balsamicccc ???
I also tried the chicken empanadas, which were absolutely delicious. The pastry was golden and flaky, perfectly encasing the savory chicken filling.
Mangia’s in the Bronx is definitely a spot worth visiting for anyone looking for quality Italian dishes. I’ll am coming back!

I went to visit my aunt in the Bronx the other day, we stopped in for lunch. I ordered the grandma pizza... and to my surprise this pizza was amazing! I'm a very picky person when it comes to pizza and I think this may be the best pizza ever! The dough was perfectly cooked- not too doughy, not too hard- the cheese was perfectly proportioned. It was simply divine. Not to mention the service was fantastic! My food came out quick. And the workers seemed happy to be there, and were very polite and tended to all of my needs. In the end, I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be my new go-to spot!

I was in my old neighborhood and went to an old pizza shop from back in the day. Last time I was there it was called Lucas. I figured I had to give it a shot . I got a regular slice ?. It was 8 pm and it was served and fresh. The crust was crispy and airy. I enjoyed the sauce and the cheese ratio. In the neighborhood I would definitely go again.
The staff was friendly and fast as well. The shop was clean and accommodating.
I would say it's definitely worth a try for anyone.
Regular slice was $3.75

This used to be one of our go-to pizzerias, however in the last year, there has been a stark decline in food quality - At least in my opinion. We primarily order from here because my husband prefers their pizza to Crosby (which is my personal favorite because quality is key). But after today’s order, it will be some time before we order from here (at least for me).
I ordered the Mangia Mia Panini, to which I wrote ‘no peppers.’ It came with peppers, and I removed them. This wasn’t a huge deal but the minute slice of chicken that was on my panini was the last straw. All you tasted was the bread - not even the ‘fresh mozzarella.’
We called and were told this was ‘normal.’ It is not. I’ve had better sandwiches from the bodega. They did offer to send another, but noted it would be the same amount of chicken. I declined because I shouldn’t have to point out flaws in the quality of what was once a great establishment.
The pizza and pasta entrees are great, however I’d recommend sticking to those if you order from here.
