I use to go over there with my friend's when I lived in 180th in vyse ave 1980's baby. We go get 2 fresh Italian bread and fo to the deli store and get some butter lol it was lit lmao.
I grew up driving past this bakery when living in the Bronx. A sandwich, whether roll or hero is not a sandwich w out this bread. I make 2 hr trips to the Bronx now whenever possible to get my bread fix. You can use the finest meat and cheeses on a sandwich but if you don’t have it on their bread, it seems like it was all a waste and may as well had a sub way sandwich. Happy 100 Years!
I could have gave 5 stars of it's not fit the trip I made to their store and find it closed when the webside said its open from 7 to 5 pm 7 days a week. Love the bread but I came back very disappointed 😥
