Just checked out Nourish, a new restaurant in the South Bronx, and it exceeded expectations. The decor is beautiful, the music sets the perfect vibe, and the overall ambiance makes it a great spot to unwind or meet up with friends.
Our server, King, was incredibly attentive and made sure everything came out perfectly. We ordered cocktails, sliders, and steak — and every single dish was spot on. The food, drinks, and service all came together for a really great experience.
Definitely a new gem in the South Bronx. Looking forward to going back!

The bartender Jassie is a vibe!!! Very welcoming & hospitable; she made my first visit here worth the trip!! I’m glad the mgr from next door told me to come here as I was looking for something to eat! lunch special hit the spot! I had the Bronx Bistro. Great choice by her. Thank you again for the service. The manager Eric was just as welcoming; southern hospitality in The X!!!

Had the chance to meet the AGM Melanie and she’s a vibe too! Great conversationalist; nice chop up. I love this spot!! Wow the whole staff got that swag!!! A must visit !!! And she just made me want to get some food again from here. My last meal was on point so I got to try something else now. I think I will try the Chicken & Biscuit Sandwich.

QX Roper-Sirvent
Hands down the best margaritas I’ve had in New York—dangerously smooth. Don’t skip the KFC with the green goddess dressing. Happy hour is worth it, and the vibe is relaxed (service is on the slower/chiller side, so not ideal if you’re in a rush). The pistachio pasta is unexpectedly excellent, and the steak is a win.

The restaurant is nice and has a great ambiance however the lack of ingredients for drinks and food is absolutely absurd. We went for brunch and there was multiple things we couldn’t get on the menu including bacon! There was also a lack of ingredients for certain drinks on the brunch menu. I ordered the crab sourdough and was giving regular toast bread and I wasn’t told I was just given this!

First off all, I have to congratulate Nourish on what they are doing! Easily a place you can find in Chelsea, or the upper West side, and yet it's founders decided to keep it in the Bronx to make sure the people of the neighborhood have something works class says a lot about the group behind it. This restaurant is run by a nonprofit group that is providing amazing services to the neighborhood, and yet you'd never believe it's run by a non profit.
Now that I've gotten into the background, let's talk about the food! The food and drinks are amazing! My recommendations are the Half Day Chicharrón (a 15 hour marinated pork belly), the Korean Fried Chicken, and the Steak Frites. The chicharrón is marinated in an Asian/Latino fusion marinade, then cooked in a way where is slightly crisp on the outside, while juicy on the inside, and served with an avocado crema that takes the place of guac (so it's a play on the chicharrón and guac combo). The Korean Fried Chicken is not the typical Korean Fried Chicken (wings or drums), instead it's like the Latin chicharrones de pollo (fried chunks of chicken) but with the twice fried Korean preparation. Instead of saucing them, they are served on a bed of the Peruvian-like green hot sauce (absolutely amazing!). Meanwhile, the steak fries are like the French preparation, where the brilliance lies in it's simplicity allowing the flavor to shine (btw, French fries are like Anthony Bourdain used to make... Thin, crispy perfection).
Last but not least are the drinks. The bar staff at Nourish are true professionals and make some amazing cocktails! My suggestion is the YaVe Reposado Tequila Old Fashioned. I know, I know, tequila in an old fashioned, but the YaVe Reposado drinks like a fine whiskey, and they make a great Old Fashioned, try one and thank me later! All in all, everything in the menu is great! So please try this gem in the Bronx, so that we can show that we can have great places like this in the Bronx! P.S. - Unlike downtown, it's really affordable while maintaining top quality, and they have a happy hour from 5 - 8!

U was there with friends for Sunday brunch. I had the sausage and potatoes. It was tasty but a bit dry. The cappuccino was delicious. The ambiance is chill and we stayed there for about 3 hours. Our server was attentive. Warm and cozy vibe

Quite possibly one of the absolute worst meals I have ever eaten.
The gemelli was an embarrassment and was thrown off by the intense taste of pistachio, and was colc The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) was not Korean nor tasted like chicken, it was overbattered poor quality of chicken. This also was cold. I asked the server to try it and she gagged
The French Fries were also cold and were the I'm sure from McDonalds.
The sliders were mediocre
Drink wise the Nuyorican was awful, and couldn't have been consumed, the pianist was good.
Music was so loud to the point we couldn't hear each other and progressively got louder as this meal went on.
The waitress forgot parts of the order, and offered us a shot or dessert to make it up, declined on both.
There are better options in the area, absolutely will not return

This is my second time coming and i love this place. Ive been here twice in the evening and its quiet, just how i like it, with few folks. The staff are lovely and personable. The service is quick. Ive had the kfc and fries and it was great. My partner had the pasta and he was quite satisfied. Good vibes! Def recommend

Disappointed to have to write a bad review about this place because it had such great vibes walking in. Beautiful interior and the menu options sounded great. The restaurant’s profits are also given to a good cause. We had ordered an appetizer and some drinks to start, after around 30 minutes of waiting for the appetizer we asked our server if it would be coming soon. They went to check on it but never heard back, and after around another 15 minutes we received our entrees but still no appetizer and one of our sides was also missing. When we asked if the appetizer was coming at all we were pretty much told “no it was never sent to the kitchen”, same with the missing side.
The food itself was a bit disappointing, the chicken and waffles specifically. For $19 we expected a little better than waffles that looked like they came from a box of Eggos and popcorn chicken. The other meal we ordered was decent but was cold by the time it finally got to us.
We communicated our disappointment to our server and they did not seem to care at all, only getting an “oh, sorry”. I understand that mistakes can happen. But forgetting to send in half of the items ordered on top of barely checking in with your table when they are one of three groups currently there, and then not doing anything to try to make it right is unacceptable. This place has a lot of potential and I hope it can get better from here.
