2024, the year someone, anyone finally got me to read fiction consistently for an extended period of time. Acknowledgements to @tenanaan for her forever reaching third eye into the souls of readers. She and the staff at @thelitbar always push the envelope to find word seekers' arrangements of pages that defy their norms and push their brains into a separate reality. I love this bookstore!! This is a Black, Latina woman owned brick and mortar bookstore in the Bronx!There's such a great selection of books by diverse authors and their children's book section always has something great for the kids. Plus, there's an area in the back where you can relax and have a beverage in the back. Everyone who works there is also super friendly and helpful.
