Patricia had gotten pricier over the years, but the food has always been good, which is why I keep going. Our server was amazing, despite the fact that she was basically manning the entire restaurant, which was full to capacity. I think the kitchen was a bit overwhelmed, as the food unfortunately was not as good as usual.
I have been here often. The food is excellent southern Italian cooking, the service is always friendly, the place is a little bit noisy when full and they play the music a little bit too loud for my taste. That said, it wouldn't stop me from going there when I'm in the area.
Memorable
Best Italian food my wife and I have had !!! High recommended, from the Margherita pizza to the spicy rigatoni or the penne vodka. This place has never disappointed.
I grew up on Morris Park. No one in my family is left there but we still go to Patricia's because of how good it is!
Visited Patricia’s last night, June 9 for dinner and while the food was as delicious as always, the customer service has noticeably declined. The hostess didn’t greet us, smile, or say a word—just dropped the menus on the table in a disinterested and borderline aggressive way. As someone who used to work in customer service, I was disappointed to see how cold and unwelcoming the staff felt overall. Our male server also lacked warmth and professionalism, choosing to leave water bottles on the table instead of filling our glasses, which made the table look messy. It’s frustrating because Patricia’s is such a great restaurant and hidden gem, but some employees make it hard to enjoy the full experience. There’s usually an Italian waitress who brings so much energy and care to her service, but unfortunately, she wasn’t working that night.
Food ,service provided was excellent, the price was reasonable
Prices have taken a big jump!.. The top notch service has slipped a bit as well as the quality of the food...
Hopefully they will get back on track.. Patricia's was definitely a neighborhood favorite for yrs.
Burger was burnt on one side and tasted like burned manure, and had American cheese instead of cheddar.
Waiter argued with me and refused to fix the errors. Would not even look at the burger. Said it was not possible to cook a burger on the grill without blackening it, which was not even the problem. Insisted the slices of Kraft American cheese on my burger were cheddar and said some ridiculous garbage about cooking burgers for 30 years. Learn how to cook a burger and what cheddar cheese is.
Also gets extremely loud and they will not turn down music, cannot hear other people at the table sometimes even when they are yelling.
Everything was perfect except a little too noisy. Ask for Maria to serve you. She is the best!

Fantastic experience. My first time there but it felt like I've been going there for years. My server was very helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and will be back soon.
The authenticity in every dish every single time is what makes this place a Bronx staple. The staff makes you feel like an aunt would serve you. How you like it, just ask. Enjoy!
For a post graduation meal with our big family, Patricia's was excellent. The decor was beautiful with large sprawling flower arrangements and rustic brick wall finishes. It had a beautiful bar up front, and the dining room was white tablecloth. The servers were BUSY that day, but they still managed to be amazingly friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was so delicious. The fare was very much like that of most Italian restaurants, but seriously elevated. Upon paying the check and leaving a generous tip, our server came back and pointed out that they had already included gratuity on the check due to our large group. My husband (and we all agreed) told them to keep it all. They were great.
Delicious food! We went for Mother's Day and it was just great food and ambience. It was VERY loud which I didn't like but other than that, loved it!
They always serve the best food! We love their calamari arrabiatta, Sunday ragu and red snapper marechiatta. The service is very attentive and accommodating. We eat all over NYC and this gem is one of our favorites!
