I just left Sam’s in tears. This was my family’s pizza spot growing up - we ordered it for every birthday party and event, and always came here to eat. I have never in my life been treated by a restaurant owner the way Anesti treated me tonight. I ordered two slices to stay, didn’t hear him when he called me even though I was sitting right next to the counter. Over 5 minutes go by so I checked if they were ready, and saw a box with two slices in it. I asked if they were mine and he practically yelled at me saying that he called me “a long time ago” and acted like it was an inconvenience. Uh, sir - I ordered two slices and you clearly had no problem giving my money order to someone else, when you knew it was mine. Did you think I disappeared or something? Then, after my meal I wanted to talk to him and all he tells me is to throw out the stuff on my tray, as if I was supposed to know that. I am never, ever coming here again, and am telling all my friends and family in the area to avoid coming back here. They were coming here before I was even born, so you’ve just lost dozens of customers. Sam was WAY better and nicer, and so was his product. I’ve stopped crying now.

GREAT PIZZA !!!, well baked with a lot of cheese on it too. However, they are a very small pizza joint with only 2 small tables in the back. Its just as good to eat when you are standing-up too. Nice and hardworking people working here as well. Possibly the BEST PIZZA in Riverdale, and in the Bronx as well.

When I want pizza I always come here, they are consistently great and you can never go wrong coming here. The workers are also nice and welcoming
Went in with my boyfriend and there were five employees standing around, we were not greeted or anything.They looked at us with a blank stare and ignored us. Instead they were distracted watching a soccer game on the tv. We asked for two cheese slices and a Pepperoni one. Since they were so distracted, they gave us all cheese slices. We didn’t even bother to say we got a wrong slice, since they had their eyes stuck to the game and seemed like we were inconveniencing THEM, we just wanted to leave. Overall, would not go back (not a very welcoming environment) pizza was okay it was bland and doughy.

Doesn't get the same hype as Brooklyn's Joe's Pizza, but I've had both many times and they're pretty similar, though I think Sam's gives you a bigger slice. Heavenly taste.

I give this place zero stars honestly The owner is very rude I was in the pizza shop and I asked for my two slices to go and I want it in the box and as I was paying for my pizza I told him I’m going to sit right here and he said I cannot allow you to sit and eat the pizza because it’s in the pizza box I never heard of this it doesn’t make no sense. He told me I would have to take my pizza out of the box if , wanted to sit down and eat inside I’m never coming here again, you lost the customer and you were very nasty anywhere I go to order pizza always ask for a box and they never told me once in my life that I cannot eat in the pizza place because I’m have the pizza in a box
