Walked in on Thanksgiving looking for a last minute dessert. The staff was super helpful considering it was 6p. Bought an apple pie for $16. Served 7 people. Delicious crust but the filling itself could use some more sweetening. Not sure if the apples used played a role here but just needed more sugar overall. Apple slices were also too thick. Reheated nicely in the oven. Will definitely be going back to try their other desserts.

The tres leches cakes from here are unmatched. It's pricey and a bit of a drive from Brooklyn but thankfully I've had a chance to taste their cakes multiple times because friends gifted the cakes ?.

This review is for a pre-made tres leches cake that I purchased for my daughter's birthday. She loves Tres Leche Cake. I was expecting a smooth and moist cake with a tasty frosting and not overly sweet filling. However, I was very disappointed with the cake. The cake was dry and grainy. The frosting was bland and left a weird after taste. There wasn’t enough filling as you see in the picture. There were two layers and not spread evenly. The filling/custard wasn’t sweet but it didn’t have a creamy flavor. The design of the cake was cute,. I was surprised with the frosting on top that it didn’t need. The flowers should had been laid directly to the top of the cake. Overall, I was very disappointed with the Tres Leche cake and it was not worth the price I paid. The cake will be eaten as a cake to be eaten along with some coffee, because I’m not throwing my money in the trash. It’s a crime to throw food away.Lesson learned:Always ask questions about pre-made cakes. I didn’t ask any.If available , buy a slice before you buy a whole cake. You’ll have something to compare it to. I didn’t.

Bout my mother a Cheesecake with Fruits on top for her birthday. She is enjoying it very much. The pricing seemed pretty good as well. Very respectful employee who got it all set up. Definitely got a nice tip.Thank you.

I bought a Strawberry Shortcake this past Monday. I was excited as I’ve had some good cakes before but damn, not one person passed the tasting stage. Not one person finished their piece. The cake had a very thick layer of icing (would had prefer the Dominican Merengue) (had good taste but was too much) the cake was a bit discombobulated after the first piece was cut. The “masa” was grainy like eating a piece of cheap corn cake so the cake was discarded. Won’t order again. I’m glad it wasn’t for a huge event and payed so much for a cake that everyone was going to throw out.

I've ordered delivery goodies from here quite a few times, and they've always been delicious. Today I had a birthday cake delivered. It was raining today and Gladys called me to make sure the cake made it safely. I've never experienced that level of care from a bakery. Not only did the cake arrive in one piece, it was absolutely delicious. Thank you, Sugarboy!!
