Friendly attentive service. Extensive food & drink menu with variety. I liked the sangria. Pesto pasta was good but had too much sauce. Also wish the happy hr menu had more food choices and lower prices.

The Bronx Public — Brunch Done Right
The Bronx Public is a fantastic local bar with a strong brunch offering. The staff is attentive, portions are generous, and the experience feels relaxed not rushed.
Standouts:
• Homemade biscuits, served warm with raspberry or strawberry butter are absolutely delicious.
• $50 brunch menu includes your brunch entrée plus 1.5 hours of unlimited drinks (sangria, mimosas, or tequila sunrise).
• I ordered a coconut martini on top of that smooth and so good.
• DJ kept the energy up, playing all the jams without overpowering conversation.
Operational notes (the practical stuff):
• They don’t rush you, which is a huge win for brunch.
• The restaurant doesn’t split checks, but the handheld machine makes it easy to split payments yourselves by card.
• Tax and tip are included, so no surprises at the end.
• Drinks were flowing consistently throughout the brunch window.
Bottom line: Great food, solid value, lively vibe, and a smooth payment process. I’d definitely go back again.

My family went here for my nephew birthday, and it took them about an hour and 30 to get seated before I got there, then they waited for like an hour or two for the food to come, burgers are horrible, fries are dry, drinks are blend, and service ain’t Soo smart. And overall bad time.

I’ve come here regularly for a while now and this is my second time receiving bad service. Food is good atmosphere is great but the blonde bartender is not a good one. Both time I’ve come to the bar while she’s working she is only paying attention to what seems to be her friend at the bar. Both times she kept forgetting to get me my drink and when she does remember she moves very slow. I ended up leaving early this weekend cause it’s not enjoyable to have to repeat to the same person your own drink because it’s been finished for an hour already. I love coming here but if it’s not Alex or Axel behind the bar when I go then I will leave immediately. You should staff properly for the weekend. I know plenty of customers who feel the same and you can start to potentially lose customers this way.

Weak drinks and freezer burnt chicken. Sauce didn’t cover it up.

Have yet to try the food but the drinks do not disappoint. Looking to chill and listen to good music? Or want to go with friends? This is a good place to go

I live nearby but rarely come here because the food is mediocre and the drinks are just as bad. Every year I gave it another try hoping things would improve but they never do.
The last time I went (the place was empty, by the way), their security had the audacity to kick my group out even though we were already leaving. We were 8 people, the only ones giving them business at the time, and he was unbelievably rude. Sorry, but it’s not our fault you don’t like working the night shift, you chose the job. At the very least, be polite to paying customers.
If you want good food, good drinks, and actual customer service, skip this place and head to Last Stop on 242nd st. Hands down the best bar in the neighborhood.

Go during the various happy hours and you'll be fine. Check the website.
Chicken quesadilla looked good & filled well (my guest had it). If you're a fries purist don't get the waffle fries - they have that seasoned batter on them. They were well cooked & crispy tho. Just not my taste.
