The soup for the day that I visited was Chicken foot and they were not cheap with it. I've been to other places, ordered a large and ended up with 2 feet. The soup was perfect and tasty for a hot summer's day.

I posted this review 3 years ago. Went in this week and got the same treatment.I have passed by a few times and it seems like if you are not jamaican you aren't welcome. Other people would walk in after me and the women at the counter would ignore my group and take someone else's order. There is no line its just whoever they feel like talking to.The menu isnt clear and the food at the counter is not always what is on the menu. There is no set price for a certain size plate or dish. When i asked how much things cost i was spoken to rudely and ask what i wanted. It seemed like they were making up the prices as i orderd.The food is over priced and not of great quality. Customer service is horrific.

Well, i went this place for oxtail. for two medium oxtail, they charged me $34!!!!!!!really. this is the most expensive oxtail i’ve ever found. definitely never go back here. if you love your money, don’t even try this place

This diner do not value their customers so i will not be coming back to this establishment. The cook that works in the back went outside after i decided not make an order and as i walked out and he continue to argue with the customer.Then attempted to follow me in his car.This is ridiculous,scary and bizarre. I do not understand how this establishment remain in business.
Hello world!!! And Happy Grand Rising??? I tried this restaurant last night. I ordered rice and peas and cabbage because I am basically a plant-based eater. Okay so I called them up on the phone they answered the phone pretty attentively. So I ordered the cabbage and rice and peas for pickup. So 10 minutes later I get to the restaurant I see the server and told her that I was there for a pick up. I told her that I ordered the cabbage and rice and peas. So I get it now and I pay for it. So I say thank you have a nice night and leave. Finally I sit down to eat. I open up the styrofoam plate. And I was totally disappointed on how the Cabbage was overcooked a lot of people don't understand how to cook cabbage. When you are cooking vegetables or just cabbage you are not to cook it more then about 2 minutes because if you do it will become very soggy and this is what happened in this case and not to mention it did not have any flavor whatsoever no seasoning or nothing so I was disappointed in that. But the rice and peas was very very delicious the rice and peas was top notch in my book.

They gave me 2 chicken wings with :l sause.theybthe nastiest attitude, like buy and go...very disrespectful. This jamaican restaurant. ....Needs an immediate inspection
The ox tails are okay the rice and cabbage are bland had better food from Golden crust on Webstet Ave, and let's not forget the the rude staff in the back room talking while 5 customers are waiting

Favorite spot to get my oxtails peas and rice ???? like the bombbb!!!!! I don’t got no where . Lol I remember coming here 15 16 years old when they use to throw the only parties , you use to walk in a little club and they had so much food at all times . Tss the energy is it

You have to get here early in the day to get good portions. At the end of the day there is no more Mac and cheese and no plantains - and sometimes if it's late, they run out of some of the more popular dishes. That being said, the portions are good and they fill the plate. The food is always fresh and the ladies behind the counter are lovely.
