The best restaurant on Arthur Ave and an absolute gem. The chef is incredible and prices are extremely reasonable. I've has countless items on the menu and specials, and they're all phenomenonal. Go for the veal osso bucco when it's a special, lasagna bolegnese is unbelievable (and surprisingly lighter than most lasagna's), veal dishes are amazing, the calamari and arancini are out of this world, and save room for the Italian ricotta cheesecake! I have been to a lot of great amd iconic NYC Italian restaurants, and none are better than this place.

Very average Italian restaurant without much nothing to write home about.Plus we were rushed out after 1.5hrs under the excuse that they have another group waiting.

My second meal here but first review. If you're looking for a restaurant near Arthur Avenue you must like Italian and charm. This is classic, with checkered tablecloths, friendly service and delicious food. I'm already dreaming about having the Artichoke Ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce again. Dining here is like getting a warm hug or maybe it's just the yummy house Chianti or Montepulciano.

There’s no utensils for to go orders pasta is separate from the order ($17) no free refills on the drinks soda ($5) host was very rude . I would never come back here the way I was treated like if I was trash on the street .

After paying our bill, which included a 18% tip, the waiter returned with the check and informed us that more tip was expected.Other than that, it was a very good meal.

I took my neighbor out shopping in the Little Italy neighborhood and decided to stop in to have something hot. We were directed to a table but didn't know which one. Waiter refused to explain the specials in his native language Spanish. I translated. I asked if we could have some bread which usually you get. He said if you want bread is $4.00 a basket, to that I replied "no it's ok not for the price. After soup arrived waiter dropped a basket with two slices of bread in it and one slice had food from previous customers. Disgusting . Minestrone was pure water with some veggies not tasty at all. Also had ordered Portobello mushrooms. It was half of one each with strips of mozzarella in between . Two seltzers and the bill came to 72.00!!!!!!!!! . 9 months ago my husband and we ate there as well, I just made it to the car when I violently had to regurgitate . It was either the fish or the old flan . Very expensive horrible service and food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tra di noi, an authentic Italian gem nestled in the heart of Little Italy. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was transported to the charming streets of Italy, and the culinary experience that followed was nothing short of extraordinary. The Fettuccini Carbonara was a revelation, perfectly al dente pasta coated in a velvety sauce that harmoniously blended eggs, cheese, and pancetta. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The Fried Calamari was a crispy delight, expertly seasoned and paired with a zesty dipping sauce. It showcased the chef's skill in balancing textures and tastes, making it a delightful appetizer that set the stage for the feast to come. The Octopus Salad was a refreshing surprise, featuring tender octopus combined with crisp vegetables and a citrus-infused dressing. The medley of flavors danced on my palate, creating a perfect harmony of the sea and garden. The attentive staff at Tra di noi added to the overall experience, providing excellent service without intruding on the intimate atmosphere. The ambiance was cozy, with an authentic charm that complemented the exquisite cuisine. In conclusion, Tra di noi is a culinary haven for those seeking a genuine taste of Italy in the heart of Little Italy. The Fettuccini Carbonara, Fried Calamari, and Octopus Salad are not just dishes; they are masterpieces that showcase the passion and expertise of the kitchen. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Tra di noi is the place to be. Buonissimo!

There are only about 10 tables in this family-run restaurant, and the place is almost always full at lunchtime. With good reason. The food is outstanding, the servings are substantial, and the service is unfailingly friendly. This has been my family's go-to Italian restaurant in the Bronx for many years, and we've never had a disappointing meal.
