Went here for the first time today to have a leisurely lunch with my parents. We sat by the window, so we got to take in Belmont’s street life while enjoying the best Italian-American food I’ve had since living in NYC. Everything was prepared simply and packed with flavor. The staff was very attentive, and the owners, who were both sitting in the dining room the whole time, were very welcoming.
We have been coming to Tra Di Noi for twenty years, usually for special family gatherings. I know of no other restaurant in NYC that has been so consistently excellent for so long. This is a mom and pop shop that with mom running the floor and pop running the kitchen. Old school charm. We came with a party of 12. A lovely lil restaurant with a lovely homey atmosphere. Food was delicious and fresh. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. A great family owned establishment. Cannot recommend enough.
