I went to Valencias today to purchase a cake for a baptism. Since my wedding cake was amazing that I purchased from them.. I had spoke to them previously through a online quote. I decided to go in taste test another flavor and speak to someone in person. My husband went in first due to parking. She was rude from the start. Not knowing this I finally come in start talking to her about what I want and my online quote. She was very rude to me. Cutting me off not trying to hear what I was looking for and rolling her eyes. I hate to throw the race card but the only thing I could think of is because we look white. I finally told the blonde headed women that she has a bad attitude and lost out on a $300 cake due to lack of professionalism.

The best cake ever I grew up since I was a kid. I am 62 years old now and I still love the cake I live in Long Island. It's hard for me to get to Valencia cake, bakery This bakery.

What is this frosted cornbread disguised as a cake?Delivery person didn't care to not till the cake, I had to re-center it on the gold plate. I don't understand what the extra strip of icing border on top was for either; it wasn't even piped evenly.My 10yr old even asked why it's so dry

I ordered a cake from this bakery for my daughter’s 6th birthday. Everyone loved Valencia cakes back then! It’s sad to say the cake that I ordered was HORRIBLE! I definitely should’ve read the reviews before placing an order, but I found the bakery in my area and decided to give it a try being that it’s a childhood staple when I was a kid. The presentation of the cake was really nice, but the taste of the cake was disgusting. The cake was dry, the vanilla filling was bland and tasted like straight eggs. I was so disappointed because my family loves cake and nobody enjoyed it. I threw it out. Waste of money.I’m not writing this review to bash this business, but to advise you guys if you don’t want to go out of business you need to do better. It’s crucial in a business to value people’s money so your customers are left satisfied and want to come back. I will not be ordering from here again and won’t be recommending to anyone.

We ordered a cake for my daughters 18th birthday. Customer service was great, and they was able to execute the cake design the way we wanted. The cake was beautiful except for when it was time to cut into the cake and eat it.. The cake was old and tasted stale it just wasn’t good. It was so disappointing that we couldn’t enjoy the cake. We pretty much paid for the look of the cake. We was looking forward to enjoying it and unfortunately we couldn’t. It was not edible. This wasn’t a cheap cake so to pay for something we couldn’t enjoy and eat was unfortunate. We’ve had a Valencia’s cake from a different location for my wedding cake that turned out great and tasted fresh. I’m unsure if it was because we went to this location it was a bad batch. Either way very disappointing. 12/15/2023 owner replied to my review, I stand by my review because it was an old cake. It was not fresh at all. It would’ve been great to have a cake taste as good as it looks but that wasn’t the case. Unfortunately we had to throw the cake out the very next day and was unable to eat any of it. This was my daughter’s 18th birthday and she couldn’t even eat the cake.

The store opens at 10am, at 11:20am the store is closed because the employee(s) are on break to the sign at the door with no clue on what time it would reopen. Also a man delivering goods to the store also arrived. How unprofessional is for the store to do that to him. It’s ridiculous to say the least.
