The protein smoothie I had at Levulose is surprisingly tasty. Their fruits are all behind the glass and they look fresh cut. I honestly think that perhaps the community does not support their healthy theme as much as it should, which forces them to cater to customers who come in asking for deep fried foods. But they have their heart in the right place and I would definitely go again.
Even though they market themselves as a juice bar and cafe, we're still in the south Bronx. So needless to say they can make a pretty decent taco. The chicken is diced and so tender, the corn tortilla is fluffy and layered and the accessory veggies bring everything together nicely.
