I had a great time at 2 chix. Everyone was so nice and friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed or wanted! The wings were amazing! Super crispy and fresh. I had the autumn bliss waffle and I loved it! The punch is really good too. Everything my table had we highly enjoyed. I will be back for the waffles, wings, and punch!

Love the atmosphere and service and the food was absolutely delicious. I had an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk - it was the best PSL I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few). I also had the social media toast (avocado toast) and the 2 chix hungry. Everything was amazing and service was lovely. I tried my friend’s sweet chili shrimp and it was my favorite part of the meal. Simply amazing.

Overall an excellent meal. We came in for brunch with a few friends for a birthday celebration right after the holidays. The owner was very friendly and the drinks were very creative. Everything pink, so be ready for the coolest looking waffles you’ve ever seen. Also, I didn’t know this at the time but the Sal’fish is the owner’s mother’s family recipe. Literally, she comes in weekly to make it. As are the biscuits. Come ready for a good time and make sure to ask about Karaoke. It’s really a fun little spot to dine in.
Kid-friendliness: We had a toddler in our group and a mother and daughter came in while we were eating. Not sure about infants, but it seems young children are welcome.

The avocado on the toast was so thin you needed night goggles to see it.
The eggs were so raw i couldn’t tell if the chic was hatching or not.
And finally i opened the waffles which requested to have strawberry topping, and as you can see, they were very generous with the strawberries.
The restaurant was very cute. My friend and I were the only ones there, but Nadia really made us feel welcomed and very very attentive to our needs. The food was great, especially the saltfish and bake. I would go back again for that dish! Overall, we had a great time there.

Let me start off by saying I’m someone who doesn’t mind spending money if the food is phenomenal or at least satisfying. That being said, I left this place spending $90 and feeling extremely dissatisfied.
I visited 2 Chix with my partner on 12/15/24 for brunch. We started with two mimosas priced at $24, which is “city prices” but lacked quality—there wasn’t even real orange juice. Next, we ordered the Mad Love, which was shredded hash browns with avocado. I agreed to pay an extra $4 for avocado, expecting something substantial, but it was just a slab of avocado spread.
Our second order was the chicken and waffles, which offered either 3 wings or a chicken patty—hardly the effort or creativity you’d expect for this dish. The wings were basic supermarket-quality, and all the ingredients felt like they were low-budget while the prices were sky-high.
To top it off, they charge $1 per type of mixed berry—$1 for raspberries, $1 for blueberries, and $1 for sliced strawberries. I understand the need to make a profit, but the quality should reflect the price.
All in all, save your money and go to Sweet Chick in Williamsburg if you’re craving good chicken and waffles. I support Black-owned businesses, but not when they provide their community with low-quality food at premium prices.
