Such a great spot in Bushwick! We had an amazing evening here. They play live jazz, which creates such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food is completely vegan, but honestly, even if you’re not vegan, don’t let that stop you—it was incredibly delicious. We tried the potato and leek pizza, eggplant rolls, hummus, and the mujadara, and every single dish was outstanding. Cafe Ornithology is an absolute gem of a place. The ambience is top tier and the live bands are amazing. Every dish is a 1000000000000000/10. The atmosphere is beautiful and the music is the best. The staff is lovely. A reservation was made but something went wrong; it was fixed beyond expectations. The hummus plate is so good, but a small plate for one is better to avoid feeling too full. Pita is also so good. Performers are awesome and the space is more about easy listening than a club. A trio and a pianist joined, showing real chemistry in the jazz community. It is a music focused space; tip your musicians.
