When I meet Karen (the owner) I will rave about the joys of chatting with musicians over a perfect hot toddy to heal my ragged voice. Paranoid Larry (a local legend) is potentially the wisest musician I have met outside of my own posse & I can’t wait to return to hear more from the adjacent sages when I return next month.
One of the best bars in Brooklyn. Cheap strong drinks and incredible vibes. All the regulars are friendly and extremely loyal to the place, and now I see why. A true neighborhood hangout.
Mere words cannot express my love for this bar and its employees. It’s a true gem in the rough if you’re lucky enough to find it. The owner and bartenders truly adore their wonderfully odd local clientele as well as travelers from the entire planet. If you’re a nice person, 68 is your jam
