The pizza was good .Got a regular Detroit style pizza. It was a little expensive over 30 bucks, but that's NY City for ya!

We came in on a relatively not busy day, asked to be seated, they said it would be a 15 minute wait, 35 minutes pass, plenty of empty tables in sight, but no action from the staff whatsoever. Their root beer, however, was very delicious so I won’t give them 1 star (I’ve also heard their pizza is good). But man they made my friends and I wait today and that was not cool.

I made a reservation in advance and had high expectations, but the store was closed without any additional information.

I ate one slice in the pic
While I appreciate the speedy service however the serving size needs to accommodate the price. 20 bucks for 6small slices which is equivalent to 1.5 regular Sicilian slices at a regular pizzeria. It’s great yay But omg I would NOT come here again due to the serving size and price.
Sauce was impeccable, taste is great but if you’re a New Yorker , nah this isn’t it.
Also it’s not by the slice. I wish I could get my money back.

Just gooood pizza and a chill friendly vibe to go with it.
Got the personal supreme Detroit style pizza (sausage, green pepper, onion) and it was literally a flavour bomb, the crispy cheese on the outside was to die for too. The server was also a gem, super friendly quick service, and the vibe is excellent - vintage films playing in the background, cool decor etc. Also really interesting cocktails! But I didn’t have one because it was lunchtime lols. I’ll be back !

Atmosphere inside the restaurant and the cool funky vibe is the only thing great about this restaurant. I used to eat here quite frequently and moving out neighborhood I haven’t been able to come. I came in today and ordered a medium pizza and I was completely disappointed. I should have known something was wrong when I arrived and saw that the department of health grade was a B but because I’ve had a good time and awesome pizza before I didn’t think anything of it. I got my pizza pretty quick and was completely disappointed, not only has the size decreased dramatically, but the dough was completely lopsided all squares were a different thickness and were super thin def wasn’t a “deep dish”. a medium pizza that used to be able to feed two people can barely feed a teenager. I was also overcharged was $26 for med supreme. Than when I mentioned the lopsided thin pizza I was told verbatim “that’s what it is” “it is what it is”. It’s really sad this has become the standard . I rarely take time to review places and I refrain from negative reviews in particular but I felt the need to leave one today after what I encountered. This behavior, service and quality won’t last long . I’m really sad I won’t eat here every again

This place is great!
I'm from Michigan, and to have a New Yorker take me to a pizza joint to have Detroit style pizza and say it's some of the best Pizza is awesome.
When I went, not much hope for a Motor city Pie in the Big Apple. Then I bit into the crunchy, buttery deep dish crust and the tangy sauce with all the right meats..... On point!
The only difference is the flavor of the crust. A lot of people say it's the water from NY is the difference.
If you are from Michigan and want a pie from home. I think this is the closest your gonna get on the east coast.
Will be back.

After reading several positive reviews I humped it from my hotel in South Brooklyn to sample their wares. I found their Detroit style pizza interesting and flavourful. However, I found the server and his 'couldn't give a shit' attitude extremely off-putting. Felt like a meal spent with 'comic book guy' from The Simpsons. I'll spend my money elsewhere next time.

We have been coming to this place ever since it open. The owner, Steve, always remembers us. It is awesome. Food is great. It is the best pizza we’ve ever had and we know a lot about pizza! Every time We are in Brooklyn, we make a point to stop by. Just awesome place with great decoration. Definitely on top of our list! You won’t be disappointed.
