Setagaya is a hidden gem in Williamsburg. If you like ramen, you will not wanna miss it. I found it randomly and was so surprised by the ramen quality and the cozy environment. The restaurant is not big and there are around ten tables for dining in. The server is gentle and nice and would cover every detail during the serving. Very ordinary ramen. The starters were also just OK.The service was the worst and frankly felt racist. Both the ladies didn't speak a word to me or my wife through the entire service. Not even to acknowledge what we ordered. Our requests for "water" and "fork" were met with irritated sighs. And all the while we saw same ladies serving with smiles and exchange pleasantries. Never felt more ignored at a restaurant.

We ordered fried edamame, tuna poke, the black garlic ramen and one of the veggie ramen with cashews. The food was very mediocre. Everything lacked flavor. But the service was amazing and we got everything really fast. Will not be coming back, I’ve had SO much better ramen other places.
