We had great food and a good time at Alma, which has been around for so many years. Tbh there are other dishes on the current menu I'd like to try but we only had standards like guacamole, fajitas and enchiladas. However these were all very tasty and well presented and the spice level was just right for us (medium - I'm sure they'd raise or lower it for you if you asked). We stopped in for a quick drink and snack while we were in the area. Alma has a perfect corner bar feel and what looked to be an excellent menu, based on the food we saw coming out. My only regret here is we had other plans and didn’t stay for dinner. We grabbed chips and salsa and the salsa was not only homemade tasting, it was one of the better salsas I’ve had in recent memory. We’ll plan better next time and will be back soon!
I went on a Saturday night at 8pm and the place was empty. I mean really empty. The food was good but unnecessarily spicy. The food was not as good as I remember, definitely not good enough to go back anytime soon. The view is very nice.
