I always take out. And love everything I order there. The gentleman at cashier sometimes let you sample something that you are not familiar with, which is nice and helpful.

I would say more of a take out spot but I have eaten there. The food is always good and the owners pleasant. I go about every couple of week. This place is consistently good and worth a try.

This is the worst Haitian food I've ever had in my life. First of all, the guy was sitting in the dark. It should've been a red flag, but I still walked in anyway. The rice was pasty and looked light skin, the chicken was really dry, and I've never seen Haitian sauce look that chunky. It must've days old with how disgusting it tasted. The place didn't even look like the pictures, nor did the food. I would've put zero stars if I could. And the fact that he paid that much for those two pieces of chicken is crazy to me.

As a newcomer to the wonders of Haitian food, I would say I am a fan. The flavors are both foreign and nostalgic. I dont have a great deal of things to compare to the service or food, but impressed was not what I would use for the food, nor service. Greeter made me feel like an imposition on his well-earned leisure time. Compared the other Haitian eatery I have had the pleasure this food pails in comparison. I presumed due to the kind of service received, the food would be great (those who know, know). Sufficient to say disappointed by both. Maybe I'm spoiled.

First time at Amnwey Eatery and it did not disappoint. The food was great, tasted amazing, and came packed. Will definitely be returning soon for a variety of Haitian cuisine.

Food and service is excellent! Space is super clean. Really warm welcome and the legume and black rice is insanely good, feels like everything is fresh off the island.

Food packed crazy, no sauce for the griot and was told that it isn't supposed to have gravy on the side, ive been to too many hatian restaurants to know thats a lie. Picliz all over the bottom of the plate like salad!!!N some fried dough stick thing tht was fufu like on inside I didn't eat.Taste was OK(shrug). Had been craving too, Went home to the bronx n was disappointed. Dam, Dry diri.

pumpkin soup tasted old and it barely had ingredients in it beside pumpkin and cabbage. Absolutely no meat and the soup lacked flavor. It’s a no for me.

If there was the possibility of not putting a star at all I would have done it. He doesn't even deserve half of one. We should close this restaurant, for the food which is not good for scam because it makes you pay a large dish for a medium and for audacity because it dares to define itself as a restaurant!

Whoever is your kitchen is not doing you any favors. You sent me undercooked rice and overcooked griot. I don’t think the person who cooked this food was haitian.
