Take it from a Dominican. Best Dominican food I’ve had in Brooklyn! Good atmosphere and great food. My wife ordered steak tacos and fried platanos maduro. I ordered Chicken pechurina mofongo with fried cheese and a chicken empanada. All of it was so good and rich in taste!

The place has a casual feel, like more of a to-go place, but there is plenty of seating including outdoor seating. We got take out. It was a bit of a wait to get the food. Overall the food was pretty good and very reasonably priced. The empanada was delicious and the croquettas were great. The pernil was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. The burger is very interesting. The cabbage on the chimi is perfect, fresh, lightly pickled. The Cuban sandwich was disappointing and dry.

paid $10 for them to give me no meat, just one piece. i’ve also had better, nothing special about this chimi. only ate bread and cabbage. i usually get full very easily but after eating the full sandwich i’m still hungry. i’ve never needed to make a review on google until now. very unsatisfied.

We try new places whenever possible. This is very authentic DR food. We tried the DR steak sandwich, it's big enough for two and the empanadas. Both dishes were very good. Empanadas perfectly flaky. The steak was a bit over cooked but still delicious.
I’m excited that there’s finally a new Dominican food option in the area, we’ve been waiting! We weren’t too hungry but we decided to try out a few empanadas. They were fresh, which was great, but the beef was just okay. They initially gave us the wrong empanada but were very nice when we reminded them of our order. I’m looking forward to going back and trying out their other dishes like the mofongo and sandwiches. The people working here are friendly and I’d highly recommend giving them a chance if you’re nearby.
