Aska offers a culinary journey with a variety of flavors and the finest preparations. Guests are treated to outstanding food and service, creating a special experience. The ambiance remains cozy, featuring a view of the garden where some herbs are grown. The vibe is dark and moody, complemented by a welcoming staff that balances professionalism with a relaxed atmosphere. The tasting menu features 15 expertly crafted courses, each bursting with flavor and no disappointing dishes. Highlights include the rye pancake with vendace and the langoustine dish, along with the incredible black cocoa cake and black currant candy dessert. Dessert is often described as a finale at a fireworks display, enhancing the overall experience. The design is somewhat minimalist, and the music is low, which helps to focus on the food. Unique touches, like a delicious non-alcoholic wine and a special dessert wine from the 1970s, add a personal connection to the dining experience. Fine dining tasting menus at Aska are satisfying, with properly sourced items that yield full benefits for diners. Service is warm and attentive, with knowledgeable staff who explain the background and ingredients of each dish and drink. While the service can feel slightly rushed at times, the overall experience is memorable and elegant. This place is worth a second visit, leaving guests eager to return for more.
