Bacchus Reviews
Nice place to dine and ambience. My wife and I was there on Valentine’s Day. They had a pre-fixed menu. The selection was good. Food was good on the ones we choose with the exception of the dessert.
For dessert, I had crème brûlée which was excellent but the strawberry cheesecake my wife had didn’t seem like a cheesecake unless this was French style. The cheesecake was a sort of soufflé smothered with strawberry sauce, a touch of whip cream and a big chocolate...read full review

Bacchus is a bistro on Atlantic Ave that does not have a liquor license, serving only beer and wines. It may lack a touch of French finesse, but the well-prepared meals are served efficiently by a professional and friendly staff. The food portions are generous, and the service feels personal. With excellent authentic French meals like branzino and good wine, Bacchus is a must-visit for a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance is inviting, making it perfect for date nights, brunch, or a girls' night out. The staff is known for making expert wine recommendations, adding to the overall experience. Bacchus is a real treasure, offering genuine French dishes prepared by a real French chef, "aux caseroles," which shows in the subtly inventive and "soigné" dishes. The restaurant has a pre-fixe menu that offers exceptional value for the quality and a large wine list with many nice bottles, mostly French, at reasonable prices. There is also a lovely garden seating area for enjoying meals on warm evenings. The welcoming atmosphere and consistent quality make it suitable for celebrating birthdays and special occasions, whether with large groups or intimate gatherings. Although service can sometimes be understaffed, the staff's warm and friendly "accueil" always enhances the experience. Overall, Bacchus remains a destination for those seeking authentic French cuisine and a cozy, inviting setting.
