I think the rich Italian accent of the owner who manages the front adds an extra illusion of authenticity in my close minded brain.Food is great regardless

What a delightful spot in South Slope! The five of us showed up at dinnertime on a Saturday night and were seated immediately without waiting. The restaurant is cozy, orderly and warm. There's a lovely selection of Italian red and white wine, mostly by bottle. For food, we ordered the salmon, pasta with pesto, fettuccine with seafood, and a margarita pizza, plus several side vegetables. We completely the evening with tiramisu and chocolate cake, both of which was wonderful. The dishes were fantastic and the service was impeccable. The wait staff was exceptionally attentive.

Food was decent, wine had balanced flavors, service quick, atmosphere good for a date. The lasagna was delicious and a good portion. The pollo ai funghi lacked flavor but the chicken was cooked nicely. The piccante pizza was very good. Despite the one dish lacking flavor, I give them 5 stars because the service was very speedy.

Amazing service and well prepared food. I highly recommend this restaurant! The attention to the little things sets this place apart. I recommend it for an early meal as it gets busy and is not that large.

This spot firmly deserves its place in the highly competitive restaurant scene of Park Slope. Excellent service, and the food is delicious. Will definitely come back. You HAVE to try their signature pear salad. Chicken breast in mushroom sauce was very juicy and tender. We did not have the pizza this time, but many of their patrons were enjoying it. Oleg. ?

I know this place as a better than average pizzeria, but that's not all they are. We had a pear salad, roasted branding, and osso buco and it was all terrific. Many times better than some of the north Slope Italian places. Looks very ordinary but don't judge it by its looks.

The staff are very solicitous and friendly, the back patio is a cozy and attractive place to sit, and the pasta and salads were extremely good.

Like most places that I put into the regular rotation, the owners are great people who work hard to create a family friendly environment. The staff are equally amazing. For me customer service is essential and they nail it. The food doesn't blow you away but it is above average and there's something for everyone. In addition to regular menu items, they have an assortment of daily specials that are worth considering. For me, it's the pizza and salads that keep me coming. I love the calamari and octopus. Every so often, I'll add pasta to my order and I've never been disappointed It's a great neighborhood restaurant and one that works hard to keep customers happy.
