Our cardio system hates us, but our mouths love us for going to Bagock. Fried chicken? Guilty! Love it... and they do a pretty excellent version here, especially for this area. This is one of the places I wouldn't miss if I was checking out the local area. Just don't forget to do more cardio after you're done.

Loved this place. Never had the combo of fried chicken & doughnuts before, but I'm definitely having it again ;) The chicken was just right: not too dry, not too greasy. Doughnuts were super tasty too!

We stopped by this tiny cash only fried chicken outpost because my friend wanted to eat here. They have two tables out front and a clean bathroom filled with chicken photos. The restaurant is situated in a quiet street but, I wouldn't recommend eating here during the colder days as they had no heaters. We also noticed there was an issue with flies and it looks like there was a waste basket tied to the tree in front of the restaurant which might have been causing the issue. Farabe ordered the Chicken Stuffed Donut ($9) but, she didn't want her chicken inside of donut. She knew she wasn't going to finish everything and they accommodated her request. Farabe loved her dish and kept commenting how she can't wait to go back and get more fried chicken. Charsu got the Fried Chicken & Grits ($15). She liked her dish but, noted that she needed to use hot sauce to spice up her dish that meat was under seasoned and lacked flavor. I got the Bagock Benedict ($10) and I agreed with Charus's assessment. I felt that chicken needed more spice but, it was tender and juicy. When I originally placed the order, I had asked the co-owner (she takes the orders!) if the creole hollandise had any beef/pork. First, she said "yes", then she said "no", in a span of a minute. I did have some breakouts and this tends to happen when I consume beef and pork. However, I am not sure if its because the dish had beef/pork or because of cross-contamination. Personally, I felt like the portion was a bit on the smaller side and I barely got any chicken. However, I understand that it was only $10. The dish was tasty when I added in some hot sauce. It was a creative spin to a brunch classic. I also ordered 3 assorted buttermilk donuts for $6. The donut was crispy on the outside and dense in the inside. I would recommend consuming these as soon as you get them. I left two to eat for dinner and they were hard like bricks and not pleasant to eat at all. If you are a fan of fried chicken, you should give this place a shot. They have creative dish, an expanse hot sauce selection, and affordable prices.

baGOOOOOCK!!! My girlfriend and I found this place after binge watching season 3 of breaking bad. All of the scenes depicting Los Pollos Hermanos kicked up a voracious friend chicken craving that needed to be satisfied. After a failed attempt with another chicken spot (a chain that shall not be named) we found Bagock via the good ole yelp search and made our visit. HOLY MOLEY THIS CHICKEN IS GOOD Juicy on the inside, impossible crunchy on the outside. Can you ask for anything more? Not to mention the staff here is wonderful. Rightfully proud of their amazing food and kind as can be. I could go on and on (amazing hot sauce selection, sides, craft beers, music selection, FRICKIN DONUTS THAT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO EAT FOR DINNER) but you've gotta just go here yourself.

Was really craving some fried chicken and didn't want to settle for Popeyes so I searched Yelp for a local place. Saw this and thought I'd get it a shot! Initially I was gonna order two orders of the 4 digits with a side but if you get the 6 digits, it comes with 2 sides for just $5 more. I'm a breast and wing kind of girl so I ordered that as well and it comes with a donut which I really wanted to try. Delivery was quick and it was still pretty warm when I got to my place. The chicken pieces were huge! My husband and I couldn't finish it all. I ate one of the chicken tender, the chicken wing and tried both sides. We still had 1 1/2 chicken tenders left, the breast and a little bit of the sides. I really liked the whole wing. It was really crispy! we ordered the mumbo sauce and the comeback sauce too. I really liked the mumbo sauce. It was sweet and bbq-y and my husband liked the comeback sauce which was a spicy mayo base sauce. The Mac and cheese was pretty good, but the mashed potatoes with gravy was just alright. I could only try a piece of the buttermilk donut and it as tasty. Will have to try one of the other ones with frosting on it. Overall, I would come back again!

Wonderful little chicken sliders made with donut bread, they are just as good as they are cute, hot sauce is a must! Venmo is accepted!

This restaurant has been on my list for a while and we just happen to look across the street in there it waz, it was meant to be. The outside decor was cute and kitschy with the barnyard fowl. There was a full menu outside of a post and our mouths watered after only a few dishes in. So the three of us went in and were greeted by owner! Friendly and hospitable service from the first step inside! The current menu was still breakfast/brunch, so my friend sadly did not try the crabcakes. I went with the chicken stuffed doughnut (basically a donut chicken sando), but I knew i would be only eating half, so she kindly didn't assemble it. My friends chose the eggs Benedict dish and the chicken with grits. Both looked tasty, but I much preferred my choice, because it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! So crispy, well-seasoned and juicy chicken tenders with one of the best cake donuts, hands down. I will be back. Note: there is a very clean restroom, but beware of the many chicken photos. I thought they were cute.

I just want to start off by saying that their fried chicken is so BOMB!! All of the food was sooooooooo good. Okay, I'm sorry for being a little "Extra" but as I write this review I just came from being elbows deep into my plate. Superb customer service, I arrived 20 minutes before closing and was greeted by a very sweet employee who was more than glad to take our order. My husband and I ordered 2 fried chicken thighs, hunk n holes, 1/4 white chicken with a donut, macaroni and cheese as well as collard greens. Let me just stop now because I'm still currently salivating. The collard greens were immaculate, some of the best greens I've had. The macaroni and cheese was light, flavorful and creamy with Panko on top. Lastly, the chicken and donuts certainly speak from themselves because it was so flipping good. I'm in awe and I really hope everyone comes on down to support this business because it's worth it. Cash is accepted as well and Zelle and a few other options but CARDS are not accepted! Please try them out, you won't be sorry.

Amazing fried chicken! I mean, chicken that you will be dreaming about for days wondering when you will eat it again kind of fried chicken. Absolutely perfect crispy coating with tender chicken which was not bland or oily ! I specially loved the hotata (hot chicken) which was the perfect amount of spice and flavor for me. The price to quantity ratio is perfect for frequent ordering - which I will be doing!

Small and cozy black-owned business nestled on a semi quiet part of Montrose Ave in East Williamsburg. When I heard of the award-winning chicken, I knew I had to try it. The chicken was moist and melted in your mouth. Surprisingly, the chicken wasn't greasy or too salty--which was a plus for various health reasons. The chicken is composed of high quality ingredients, including but not limited to, hormone free, free range chicken. Like the chicken, the mac and cheese was neither greasy nor salty. It almost tasted vegan in terms of quality, taste, and texture. This was, however, a let down. My taste buds were feigning for more of a "cheesy" flavor rather than a "health conscious" one. The mac and cheese was lack luster in the comfort food department. Overall, Bagcock Chicken and Donuts is an awesome local restaurant that I will revisit in the near future. I look forward to feasting on their chicken sandwich. Til next time. Peace.

This has the style of fried chicken that I like: the batter comes out dry, crunchy, and crumbly, and the chicken remains moist and juicy. Two of us were filled by the half-chicken, the collard greens (with pork), and mashed potatoes topped with gravy. All hits with a strong umami flavor but I'd say on the salty side. Donut has good flavor, not too sweet, texture is tight perhaps the dough was under proven. Not a deal breaker. The location has a large range of hot sauces available. All this considered, winner, winner, a solid fried chicken dinner.

Delicious & Affordable!!Food 5/5Best fried chicken for that price! Freshly fried crispy tender juicy chicken. Must try if you’re in the area, or make a trip there! Its worth your while. Nearly 30+ selection of hot sauce for you to experiment with too! And for a person that hates doughnuts, I was going to give them to my bf but ended up eating one of them and I actually enjoyed them!Service 5/5So friendly and helpful! Everyone was wearing a mask and following covid protocols. Payments are done online via venmo etc. I think she may have been the owner but she keeps checking in and made sure everything was okay. Was a very pleasant tea time snack for me!Ambiance 5/5I like it even though it’s really simple. 2 tables outside the store but on a terrace so you’re away from pedestrians. I think indoor dining is also available but i opted to sit outside. The toilet was cute with pictures of chickens

Man, this place is insanely good! Turns out donuts and fried chicken are a great combo, especially when both are individually done so well. The honey and extensive hot sauce bar make this place stand out even more. If you’re not looking to do donuts and fried chicken then there are other options as well. Would recommend either way! Friendly, helpful service too!

Oh my lord the chicken here is good! And the donuts complement it perfectly. The owner/proprietor was attentive and helpful and generally lovely. Their hot honey is perfect on the fried chicken!
