There is a reason they have been open since 1900. Everything we ate was phenomenal . The service was impeccable and so warm. I will be dreaming about the Cheesecake and Baked Clams,and Lamb chops.
I wanted to try this old fashioned highly rated Italian restaurant. We went for lunch so it wasn't crowded. The food was on par with some of the other Italian restaurants we have dined at. If you like ambience and old world charm, this place is for you. Old carpets, paneling, pictures on the wall. The service was pretty good and the lady manager checked on us to see if everything was satisfactory. As some of the others have mentioned, a bit pricey.
The food is top notch the very best,the baked clams are outstanding and you must dip with the bread the ravioli is to die for so creamy and fresh and try the seafood platter wow just enough seafood not over done.The price is on average with other red sauce restaurants.
