Food, service and atmosphere were all impeccable.
We have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time now. I took my husband here for Father’s Day and we were not disappointed! The staff, food, and decor were fantastic! They were so friendly to our 6 month old as well, which is always extra special. We will 100% be returning!
Best caeser salad!!!
Special special place
Best place ever!!!! Just go. The foos is great ! Nice and beautiful atmosphere! ! Exelent service. Enjoy
We truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! Buonissimo! A great spot in Brooklyn for authentic Italian Food.
Loved the rich, perfectly al-dente pastas and friendly “ciao”-filled service. A great Italian option if you find yourself nearby.
This place is off the charts good do you have to love a place where the chef owner greets you after you walk in the door, not to mention the food is off the chain. I've always been a sucker for Piemontese cuisine, having been to that region of Italy three times. Nice bar. Also had a glass of Barbera and a plate of polpettini with focaccia. Go here. You won't regret it.
Everything about this place was amazing! Big hello at the door from Alessandro, great service at the bar, amazing food and drinks!
My boyfriend and I dined at the bar here on November 2. Food was great and the vibes were great. Alessandro, the owner, is very welcoming. However they didn’t serve us our bread and were going to serve it after the last course but I told them not to bother. They also were very slow to refill our waters. Other than that, it was great.

A fantastic evening with family and friends. Thanks to the unseasonably warm weather in October in NYC we ate "outside" and it felt like we were at the seaside. Exquisite food and quality wines. Everything perfect!

True Italian style, felt like I was back in Italy. Incredible what's happening in Redhook. Squid ink pasta was to die for. The gnocchi were like air pillows with truffles.

Had a few hours to blow while in the Redhook neighborhood and stopped in Bar Mario. The bartender Felix is truly a expert mixologist and very knowledgeable. Orders a Mario Negroni which was quite complex and tasty. I didn't have time for food but the kitchen smelled amazing. Definitely recommend and will be back.

What a special spot to find on a Tuesday evening. We originally went to Red Hook to have the Red Hook Tavern burger, but with an hour and a half wait we walked down the block and stumbled on this absolute gem.
The decor and ambiance is very special - we had the corner table and could observe a very intimate and friendly atmosphere.
We ordered the chicken bolognaise soecial, the burger, the hangover pasta, the pork sausage with baguette app, and the cauliflower. Splitting between four of us, it was gone immediately. Not because of the portions, but because it was so tasty.
Personally, I had two of the mezcal palomas, but my wife and our friends also very enjoyed the negroni and gran madre cocktails.
Overall just a very special evening. Great food, great drinks, attentive service that also left us alone to enjoy our evening. Just perfect.
