I absolutely adore this bar. It’s a great spot to enjoy a cocktail outside in their front ‘deck’, or get cozy in the booth corner with wine. The decor and chilled out vibes are great, making it a cute laid back date spot.

while sitting outside after the bar back cleared our table, he asked us, the only table with people of color, to leave since our drinks were done. there was no one waiting to be seated and no other people were asked to go despite having no drinks on their table. when confronted, he was defensive and said "this is Bedstuy most of our clientele are Black" which is simply not true of this white owned bar in a historically Black neighborhood. the fact that he asked the only Black patrons to leave without reason was deeply unsettling and upsetting. needless to say we will not be returning to this bar.
