I came here to purchase my son’s birthday cake because I wanted to try something new for once, and I was going off of the reviews online and the location looked beautiful with a huge variety. But sadly I ended up being very disappointed. I arrived 2 hours early to pick up my cake and it wasn’t ready, okay that was probably my fault. I returned at the agreed time and it didn’t even have the writing on it. It was like they forgot my order existed until the day of. The woman wrote on the cake in front of me, and I honestly wanted to cry. If I wasn’t in a rush for the birthday party I probably would’ve asked for a correction. The cake looked like it was decorated by my 3 year old. For 86$ I honestly expected a bit more.

Call it a classic or a throwback but make sure to go there and decide for yourself! Great selection of Greek and Italian American pastries and other fantastic treats. We enjoyed pignoles, almond wedding cakes, cannolis and baklava. And they were all delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff so of course we bought more than planned. It was worth it to splurge on such great quality.

Bay Ridge Bakery is the best!!! My custom cake for my 27th birthday came out exactly as I dreamed and was absolutely outstanding. It remained fluffy for 5 straight days of leftovers! Thank you all for your amazing work!

Nicest bakery ever! The cakes are great and the people and service is amazing! My friend gifted me a cake from this bakery and ever since then I've been hooked. I recommend their ribbon cake, chocolate biscotti and macarons. Yet to try everything else. The staff is super duper sweet and accommodating and the treats are amazing! Special mention to Laila who was very warm and helpful. Only getting my cakes from here henceforth. Definitely recommend it! Also I don't have many photos because we ate them all immediately lol

I was hoping to find a bigger selection of Italian cookies but it seems like they focus more on cakes here. I didn’t get to try cakes this time but did select pignoli, rainbow, biscotti and short bread cookies. All were decent with pignoli being my absolute favorite. I could tell they had been baked that day. Only negative thing I have to add is that the biscotti was rock hard! I almost injured my tooth!
I really enjoyed their apple pie! It was one of the better ones I've had. Their pecan pie was a bit too sweet for me though.
