Brooklyn cream looks quaint and cozy from the outside so I thought it would be a small mom and pop ice cream joint and Im always excited for small local businesses. It takes so much courage to open a business in nyc because its so expensive. And local working class owners are dwindling like the lumbar industry in a small town. So when I entered BK Cream, I was surprised by what a large operation it was. They do much much more than just ice cream, like smoothies and maybe even food.I considered finding another ice cream spot on this scorching 90 degree NYC summers day because ice cream is so so dear to me and I prefer quaint and small shops. But decided to go ahead and order a cookies and cream ice cream. I was thoroughly impressed! The cream is high quality, you can taste it in each bite. I ordered a small and so I savored every bite because it was delicious and satisfying. I didn’t wanna walk back to order more as I was already well on my way to walking to Manhattan but if I was within 4 blocks when wanting more, I would certainly have turned back. The ice cream is wonderful and the service was nice and warm.

Outstanding ice cream. We got peanut butter brownie and cappuccino coffee. Perfect balance of sweet, salty and bitter.

Cute shop. Smelled great inside. Had some ice cream, mint chip, little drizzle of chocolate. Kinda skimpy on the drizzle. Tasted good. Would try other flavors

Was in the neighborhood for lunch and took a stroll after and happened up on this little gem. Ironically, I had used the glasses store before but never noticed this. The space is tiny when approached from Bergen which is where you enter the ice cream shop directly but keep in mind that from the front, there is actually a whole other establishment on the other side. They had your typical assortment of ice creams, toppings and shakes but with some unique flavors like chai. On average the pricing was about average for the area with a cone or scoop costing around $4-$4.50. Again, nothing to rave nor be flippant about. Quality of the product was just ok. Have had better in the neighborhood. The service was great. The person behind the counter was outside smoking when we arrived but was immediately responsive. He was cheery and engaging, delighting in small talk with my partner. Keep in mind that there isn't room for sitting down on this side of the business but you can always hang outside on a nice day and enjoy the rest of what the block has to offer.

Such a cute little spot to end the night with a sweet treat. The staff was amazing and really helpful + kind. The outdoor seating is nice - plenty of room! My favorite flavors are hazelnut fudge and the coconut almond one. They are so creamy and textured, perfect ice cream!
First but not last time in this place.MUST COME HERE.

Ice cream flavors are exactly what you need for the cravings. Coffee? Yes! Nutella? Yes! Basic flavors? Of course! Crepes ? even savory flavors so if you want a little sweet for later it’s perfect. Great 1st date spot!

Honestly….. okay ice cream. I mean, tasty! But store bought ice cream is just as good, if not better. Few flavors, artisanal.
