Absolutely loved this little neighborhood wine bar- can't believe it's taken me so long to visit! Cozy and informal, they have outside seating, inside tables and bar seating. The open fire is a nice touch, and the extensive but reasonable wine menu also has a beer and spritz section. Nice to see some more unusual (to new York!) wines from Sicily and Slovenia. The food menu is compact, more on the elevated bar bite spectrum. A must visit!

Absolutely love this place. Just outside the restaurant there is Brooklyn and just inside there is Vermont. Such a cool and unusual space for the city! Owner was a great guy too!

This was truly such an amazing spot to stumble upon. The wine selection was amazing, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was truly magical. We celebrated my birthday here and it was truly one of the best places to do so. I highly reccomend their house red! I will 100% be recommending this spot to others, and a massive shoutout to the wait staff/bartender for being so kind and friendly the entire night!!

Update: wow no phone, so edgy, so retro
Original: Two of us showed up a few minutes before 8 o’clock on a Thursday night, 25° outside. It was full inside, except for a smallish, medium-sized table at the front. We were turned away due to there purportedly being no tables available, so I specifically asked about the empty one and was told that that one was reserved for “large groups.“
This is very frustrating because we are two people ready to spend $50 right now, and we’re being turned away on the off chance that a group twice our size or larger will be arriving later this Thursday night. This is objectively stupid business practice.
Furthermore, we were allowed to put our names in, but no phone numbers. We were told there’s a 30-45 minute wait, so what are we supposed to do, just stand there at the door and wait in this below-freezing weather? It feels like taking our names is simply meant to placate us, because unless we stay there the whole time then there’s no keeping our spot in line.
Recommend if you enjoy hearing every detail of your neighbor’s conversation and getting body-checked by a stranger every time a table turns over. The place is so packed it has to be a fire code violation. Ordered food that never arrived. Good wine selection.

Great mulled wine and a very cozy winter date night. $9 house wine by the glass too. Got the beet goat cheese tart and it was great, looking forward to returning to try more of the menu

Adorable cozy vibes at this neighborhood wine bar. Didn’t eat the food but it smelled and looked good. Afternoon spritz was very tasty. Good wine selection. Reasonable prices with house wine options. Will definitely be back.

I came here on a Sunday night feeling hungry and ready for a bit of food. I saw they had meatballs on the menu and they brought some over. They have a big wine list but I was fine with a glass of beer. The place is very cramped, so I did feel very squeezed near the wall. Overall it was a good date.

I chose this spot based on what other reviews said about the atmosphere but it's way too cramped & loud and uncomfortable seats for me. Excellent wine selection, good staff, tiny & pretty useless menu - the cheese is good.

The wine list is interesting in a good way. The food is less interesting but gets the job done. It's far away from a lot of things so that's a big plus.

super cozy & good people watching. prices were $11-16 for a glass. I do wish the menu had more descriptions of the wines rather than just names & locations but really enjoyed the glass the server recommended :)
