Been there twice and both times the food was good.
Great kind people running this place . Definitely a feeling of home and just a chill night . Definitely will be back for open mic night . Food was fresh and delicious
My husband and I ordered two meals on Saturday and since then we haven’t stopped talking about how amazing the food was. Straight up authentic Jamaican food. The curry chicken was delicious and the stew chicken I have to admit was better than my own 😁 The service was outstanding and fast. Everyone working was so friendly as well! We will definitely be returning.

Based on the reviews, Blindenpete is a hidden gem with a cozy spot and a calm atmosphere. The space is spacious, not a hole in the wall, and gives off an island Jerk Shack vibe with smokers outside. The food is absolutely delicious and flavorful. Specific meals mentioned include shrimp tacos, Oxtail tacos, Jerk wings with Mac & Cheese, Jerk chicken with peas & rice, cabbage, and plantains. The rice and peas are the star of the show, soft, rich, and seasoned to perfection. The jerk chicken is juicy, perfectly charred, and packed with bold, smoky spice. Customer service is good and welcoming. There is a small bar, a nice sound system, games, and various activities. The vibes are on point, and everyone feels like family. Taco Tuesday is a must, with great Caribbean vibes and music from Dj Major.
