Best baklava in NYC. I purchased at the Park Slope location once and they moved to Bay Ridge like 2 years ago. The staff was super friendly. He offered me a sample of pistachio baklava and it was so delicious. It was so fresh and not too sweet. I got a box of assorted nuts. It got 12 pieces and it was $22. Can't wait to go back and try other Turkish pastries.

I co-found a community pop up and for our last event the theme was natty wines/high Tea. We wanted to keep the food options ethnic and I stumbled upon Brooklyn Baklava. A quick browse of the menu and a 2 minute phone call was all I need. Mohammed was so kind, professional, honest and accommodating. Talking to him made me feel like I’ve known him for a good while already- such a familiar spirit.

We were swamped with the event so my co-founder trekked out to Bay Ridge to pick up our order and bought an additional assortment of sweets. The baklava are EXCEPTIONAL in every sense of the word. Full stop.
They are not cloyingly sweet or sticky, just the right amount of crispy pastry, richness and a touch of syrup at the bottom, the flavors are bold yet delicate and there a slightly floral aftertaste. Magnificent craft. I can’t even fully explain it.
Our guest ran us down all night about the baklava AND the Katafi. They were gone in about 2 minutes after we set the desserts out. I was sooooooo happy and just astounded.

Mohammed has FOREVER clients in us and I encourage anyone on the fence to do themselves a favor and just go and change your life.

Good Baklava. Not too sweet, nicely crispy layers. Grab some if you are in the neighborhood. If Hafiz Mustafa in Instabul is 10/10, this is a 7.5.

The place is awesome. The manouche/manakeesh are fresh and soft. The service is great - i hadn't even ordered and i was offered some baklava - sweet with a flaky outer layer and even though I'm not a big fan of rose water in simple syrup , it was so subtle and not overpowering at all.

The manouche was fresh and tasted great. Would definitely come back again

Absolutely amazing bakery! I stopped in and tried both the pistachio and cashew baklawa!!!! Each one was fresh, perfectly sweet, and truly a 10/10. The owner, Mohammad, was incredibly kind and welcoming, letting me sample any flavor I wanted. They also have an impressive variety of other sweets that I will definitely be coming back to try. I ended up taking home a large mixed box (pistachio/cashew) along with some delicious kanafeh, and everything was outstanding. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!

Many people walk by this place because the façade doesn’t look like a bakery, but let me tell you stop. These are the best pastries in the neighborhood I have lived in this neighborhood forever. . These are real traditional, Middle Eastern pastries Lebanese style, which in my opinion are the best there are so many bad Middle Eastern bakeries and restaurants the place next-door for example just so many bad, horrible places this place is the best try his cheese pie. They make it fresh on the premises, his dough is impeccable. You would think living in such a Middle Eastern neighborhood. There would be more than one place, but I’m telling you as someone who eats this stuff often this is the best in the neighborhood.
