Been looking everywhere for some Turkish baklavas after trying them for the first time in Berlin, really glad to have finally found some here in Brooklyn where most other baklava joints I’ve tried carry the Syrian/non-Turkish kind.I tried a few samples before proceeding to buy 2 pounds of the pistachio baklava ($14/lb)— Reema was very friendly and answered all my questions attentively. The baklava is devine. So tasty and probably the best you can get. Whenever my husband makes a trip to NY he always grabs two boxes for us. We leave one in the fridge and the other in the freezer.
Always kind ladies that works here. The desserts are always very good. I usually get their walnut and pistachios baklava and tried other desserts from their fridge. All really good. I once even had their fried dough stuffed with sweet custard and another with walnuts and soaked in syrup; this is only available during Ramada.
