This place had a promotion on a website where for a set price, you usually get a goody bag with a few items, part of the food non-wasting mindset.I figured now was a good time to try their baklava, seeing as to how that's what this place seems to be all about. Heck, it's even in their name. When I dropped by to pick up my "surprise" order, the Mexican girl behind the counter grabbed a box of something from the shelf, put it in a bag & handed it to me.Turns out, that something didn't include any baklava samples. Rather, it was a box of some weird stale cookies, which were imported from Turkye. In fact, according to the label in the back(see photo) they were "produced" in Jan 2023.. a whole year ago! So terrible were they, even my dog who usually eats all sorts of snacks, refused to even try them. Not sure why these folks bother participating in any promotion, because this promotion brought out the worst in them.Suffice it to say, I won't be going back for anything else. I'll just stick to the tasty Greek baklava from Bay Ridge Bakery, thank you.

Not authentic baklava in my opinion. Too dry; odd shapes. We got a 3 variety sampler, but they all tasted and looked the same (may have been a mistake).

Absolutely love love this place. True definition of Hospitality in it's finesses. The owner (husband and wife) duo truly such genuine people. Seeing them makes me believe there are still good people left in this world who want to do the right thing. Phenomenal Service, Phenomenal tasting goodies just WOW.

Brooklyn Baklava is one of my most visited dessert spot. Baklava is a mid eastern pastry that is sweet; some might say, too sweet. I love it though, it's flakey on the outside and chewy on the inside and bottom. The baklava has nuts inside. The original is the walnut and pistachio, but this spot has all! My favorite is the cashew, it very different and love the sweet syrup that it is soaked in. The shop smells so good when you walk inside. I have only visit them once since they moved to Bay Ridge from Downtown Brooklyn. The service from the owner is friendly. They also sell pies with stuffings inside. Tasty too! Besides Baklava they also have other items like mahmoud, nuts and dates.

The best baklava I've had. Tried the pistachios and almonds variants and loved both. Apparently it's the Lebanese baklava which has a balanced taste and is not overly sweet. I loved it and the owner is extremely nice and amicable.

Very good but weird pricing…First time I went I paid less than $20 for a box of 4 baklavas, one walnut filled pastry and one other pastry, and I had $2 remove paying by cash vs. card. Second time I went, I had to pay $29 for a bag of two zaatar pie and 2 pastries! Ridiculous, this is even more expensive than a restaurant! And only got $1 off paying by cash. It was at the time of the protest for Palestine so maybe the owner wanted to overprofit from the big crowd present that day, but still, not cool!

Omg, I’m in heaven. Brooklyn Baklava, Im your new fan! Not only the sweets are delicious, but the ingredients are all great (butter, sugar, nuts). No inverted syrups or palm oil. Love, love, love!

Assorted Baklava & Spanakopita Triangles. OKAY. The Baklava was GOOD served 2 ways with Walnuts and Pistachios. The 3rd piece in this assortment seemed to be a Mini Revani or something similar. This tasted just fine. Now for the BAD news. The Spanakopita Triangles taste HORRIBLE. I've only had LEBANESE Spanakopita a handful of times and its always tasted BAD. The emphasis always seems to on the Spinach where it seems like I'm tasting nothing but the Leaf itself. I commend the nice gentleman who was assisting me being extremely nice and offering me free Baklava samples. I would come to BROOKLYN BAKLAVA for the Baklava and avoid the Spanakopita. WALK DON'T RUN.
