I’ve been through this place twice now and had an incredible experience both times — but the first time stood out because of the amazing service from Anders. This guy seriously goes above and beyond.
I was hoping to see him again on my second visit, but unfortunately, he wasn’t there. The place is still great!

I’ve been to kava bars around the US and this kava bar has the worst service by far. The white guy with the freckles who served me the other day was beyond rude. He was on his phone the whole shift and acted like he didn’t want to be there. He acted like he was wronged by having to work there and kept checking every POS interaction to see if people tipped or not. Just not great service or vibe. Btw I work in the service industry.. this is just not how you act. Also the space is very small

Really nice barista gave me a fair discount on my triple kava drink. He was honest to tell me it had the same strength as a double after not being able to pour enough out from one of the stored containers. You’re also able to take the drinks to go too which I really like.

I told them I was Palestinian so I could get a discount for their overpriced Kawa (12 dollars?????) and they discriminated against me when wanted to watch a football game
A nice little spot. On Thursdays there is a fun little art salon, today we made sculpture while blindfolded.
