I told them I was Palestinian so I could get a discount for their overpriced Kawa (12 dollars?????) and they discriminated against me when wanted to watch a football game
A nice little spot. On Thursdays there is a fun little art salon, today we made sculpture while blindfolded.

The experience wasn’t the best because the server Angie I believe was her name was kind of rude and not really welcoming. It was my first time visiting this place, she said she was leaving in 10mins so I felt rush.

Quiet enough to get work done and tiny enough that you get to know all the regulars

The person helping us was incredibly kind and patient. They explained everything Kava to us since it was our first time drinking it. I really liked the Horchata-Kava mix but I feel like it wasn’t as strong as I’d like to get the full experience. The space is small but there is outdoor seating. Since it was warm, I enjoyed drinking my Kava in the park.

I come all the way from New Jersey. The guy who works here is awesome, great kava. Everything is very high quality
I've frequented a lot of kava bars, but this one wins. The regulars are really friendly and the conversation is top notch, especially once you get to know them a little. I've made some actual friends here. Always great music. I love how they make everything the "old fashioned" way, on site, versus just buying it premade and of unknown origin. It feels like they take pride in having a good product. I've gotten sick off the drinks from some other kava bars, but not here.Great location too, there's a good Mexican restaurant next door, and the park down the street.Nice to work in here too, they're really open to that.

Im a fan. The first kava bar i ever experienced. Super chill vibes and strong tea. They have lil pastries too which i adore. Recommend grabbing one to go from the walk up window and heading over to Maria Hernandez to sip and dog watch.
First time trying kava and they were super helpful making sure I had a good first experience. Had a great time!
