location was very chill they had a nice long bar and the high chairs and tables that i like. they also had the front Alcove i guess is what you would call it im not really sure you open the door to the bar there is a seating area with a glass wall seperating the area from the bar and then you open a 2nd door and walk into the bar area . liked the back room with they have live music. i liked the kitchen is open very late. its brooklyn you get the brooklyn crowd and the vibe. only...read full review
An Ode to Alphaville
When you think of a bar. A good bar. I think what we truly desire is a place that seems familiar even if it’s the first time we have walked through the door. Alphaville seems like a place outside of time. A liminal space with eclecticism oozing from its pours. The various clashing patterns on the walls. The lighting, a chaotic jumble of color palettes. ALPHAVILLE offers some of the best fries in the area and delicious vegetarian nuggets with a unique sauce. The staff are super duper nice, kind, patient, and accommodating. Known for the best fried chicken and chicken nuggets, generous portions, and in-house sauces like the Alpha sauce, the reasonably priced restaurant also serves world-class cocktails and Juneshine on tap. Employees provided service that was both friendly and attentive. This place looks better than most restaurants and prepares meals showing technique and flavor awareness, including a fantastic smash burger and a new menu. A Brooklyn gem with an awesome back room for DJ events, it's a must-visit spot with great food and fantastic overall vibes to experience the vibrant NYC music scene.
