This was my first time at the Brooklyn Music Kitchen. They have a full service bar and a descent menu of appetizers. I ordered the wings & my friend ordered beer šŗ- battered shrimp š¦ and fries. We both ordered cocktails. I ordered my favorite, which was a Tequila Sunrise, it wasnāt strong at all and I had two, I didnāt taste any alcohol, but that was cool with me since I was the designated driver. I didnāt even feel a buzz, otherwise my son would have driven me...
I spent a few weeks at this place while my friends were performing. I paid $15 for entry, and the total bill came to around $65.
The atmosphere was really pleasant, although seating was limited, and it was nice to listen to the performers. Overall, it was great to see the performers supporting each other.
I was seated at a table, but you have to go up to the bar to order food. The food itself was very simple and not really worth ordering....

Played at the open mic BMK and it was a great experience overall! Good talent, great stage with awesome sound. Great for performers!
The only thing I disagreed with is making performers buy a ticket to have a (very small) time slot in the open mic. Iāve been to many open mics in different cities and never had to pay. If a performer is playing I donāt think they should have to buy a ticket. I mean without the performers, there is no event. Otherwise a fun experience...
