Sigh... probably the best coffee in the area for now but this place is very often not open on the morning when they say they'll be open.

Mocha Latte. Exceptional cup of coffee. Not too sweet. Perfectly sweet. Finished it moments before the bus arrived. Nice experience.

The cardamom donut is my absolute fave. I recommend getting one with a lavender or rose latte if you like hot tea!

good place to do some work on laptop. wasn’t a fan of the music for a coffee shop (top 40 pop songs) but that’s just preference. coffee is just okay. i never really taste the syrup flavors.

Cute coffee spot on Flatbush Ave. unplanned, walked by for a quick drink. I can’t remember what I got but it was a flavored latte and doesn’t seem to show on the menu. I think it was Oreo? But I really don’t know. Anyway it was just okay. I didn’t taste the flavor at all.

I want to go back and try a classic flavor. Cute ambiance regardless. Great seats for working remotely. Will def be back.

Based purely on the coffee, this place is mediocre at best.

I continue to be surprised at how undiscerning most coffee consumers are. Perhaps it’s the Starbucks effect: dark roasted coffees that are bitter and boring, and require a large amount of additional flavors and/or sweeteners to make them palatable. This later point only adds to the addictive quality. And let’s not forget the presentation! In this age of social media, how the coffee looks is far more important than how it tastes.

But in all of this marketing and mayhem, what about the pure and simple coffee? How was it grown, processed, and roasted. And how well does the preparation extract the best from that coffee. In short, how does it taste?!

For most people taste/quality is secondary. All they want is that dark, burnt, bitterness drowned in flavors and sweeteners that fulfill the expectation and conditioning of what a good coffee is supposed to be.

Do yourself a favor and try the coffee without all the bull. Try an espresso, pour over, or a basic cappuccino. Don’t add any flavors or sweeteners. Then ask yourself, is this any good?

Great place to pick up a cup of coffee. I had a conversation with the owner great guy! They have some really good empanadas that satisfy! One of the best coffee shops in Flatbush!!
