Red velvet cake was on point
Expensive prices for a terrible attitude. customer service is everything and here it doesn’t exist. if I could give it a zero I would.
Came here w my friend after work and we had a great time. Great flavors, very rich ice cream and a good evening wind down before heading home
Great flavors, and I tried my friend's pistachio. It was perfect. The pretty sweet vanilla was pretty sweet, but still good.
I stopped by for a treat and left feeling more confused than satisfied. I ordered a cup that was clearly listed at $4.50, but somehow ended up paying $6.75 before tip. When I asked, the employee (who acted like they’d rather be anywhere else) told me it was because the flavor had oat milk — an upcharge that wasn’t posted anywhere. For what amounted to barely a scoop of ice cream, it felt more like a surprise fee than a fair price. The ice cream did taste good but it was a bummer experience.
Quick delivery, directly from the restaurant. The Mango was delicious.
Amazing gelato
Kianna was so kind and helped me decide on what ice cream to get! The pistachio and Ube ice cream was so delicious. Will def be back!
Traveled from Flatbush just to get some ice cream, Ice cream was great, what was horrible the customer service. Young women with side box braids. unprofessional what made it worse she was serving the entire time with an attitude. Professionalism is key when serving others at any restaurant.
Great Ube Gelato, But Not Worth the Price Tag
I have to admit, the Ube gelato at Brown Butter Creamery is fantastic and pretty much the reason I keep going back. It’s got a unique flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere, and it’s become a favorite of mine.
That said, the prices here feel way too high for a neighborhood spot. This is Brooklyn, not lower Manhattan, so it would be nice if they adjusted to serve the community that keeps them in business. On top of that, the staff isn’t exactly the friendliest. They seem comfortable among each other, but their people skills could use some work to make the experience feel more welcoming.
In the end, I’ll go back for the Ube, but I’d love to see some changes that make this place feel a bit more community-friendly.

Good ice cream but it’s not nice that they only allow you to try 2 flavors and they won’t tell you about this rule until you ask for the third. They also don’t serve water, you only have the option to buy. No one is expecting over the top generosity in New York but this is a bit cheap ?

My go to place for sorbet and gelato with kids after hot summer day. The cakes and banana pudding is also good!!!
Flavors are being rotated and they're always delicious so always nice to try something new.
